OoOoOoOoO

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third was falling. He wasn't screaming, or thrashing around in fear, not a single worry was etched on his careless face. He fell through the air with his eyes closed and arms open wide as though embracing his fate. Forest green eyes snapped open when a whirring sound filled the air, Flipping over to face the restless sea, Hiccup caught the saddle of his night fury as he flew past, rightening himself in the saddle before clicking toothless's tail into place mere meters from crashing into the waves below. Hiccup glanced back at the ocean as he and toothless climbed through the air to join the other dragon riders.

"Any longer Toothless, and I'd be nothing but a splat in the ocean." Hiccup said as Toothless crooned in indignation.

'I know, I know you had me, though it was a pretty close call." Hiccup reassured. "Just wanted to show off didn't you?" Hiccup said in humour as Toothless hit Hiccup with his ear, he laughed in response and scratched Toothless's scales as he purred in pleasure. Toothless and Hiccup continued to fly calmly, ignoring the shocked riders.

"Wow. You could've died." Tuffnut vocalised. "Me next!"

"Hiccup, pray tell, is the point of us jumping to our deaths." Astrid ground out.

"Well that's kinda the point Astrid." Hiccup stated and hurried to finish at Astrids glare. "The point is we jump to our probable deaths, knowing we could die, but also knowing we won't because we trust our dragons to catch us. It's a trust exercise."

"So let me get this straight. You want us to jump from our dragons, just so we can be caught by our dragons." Snotlout questioned.

"Yup." Hiccup assured.

"You. Are. Crazy." Astrid reproached.

"So I'm told." Hiccup grinned to eye rolls. "So…. Who's next?"

Hiccup Haddock the third had fallen. Hiccup wasn't daunted by his near death though, because, Hiccup trusted Toothless to always be there to catch him. Always.
