The brunet sat upon his bed with a pencil and a notebook. He was alone in the room. With a deep sigh, he began to write.

The moon and stars and sun alike

Provide us with guidence and light

They fill our lives with sight and wonder

So we needn't aimlessly wander

Through the lands valleys and hills

Alone, afraid, and-

He ripped the paper out of his notebook and threw it aside. With another sigh, he began to write again.

Raindrops on roses and whisk-

Frustrated, he ripped out the paper again and crumbled it, tossing it into the trash can on the other side of the room. Yet again, he began to write.

If I'm the sun then you're the moon

If you're the words then I'm the tune

If I'm the heart than you're the beat

Somehow together we're complete-

Shaking his head, he tore out the page and crumbled it. He lay back in the bed thinking about his beloved. Their blond hair, green eyes, and light skin were so beautiful to him. Their personality was sweet, but fierce when need be. It was perfect. So this love letter needed to be perfect as well. With a soft groan, the brunet sat up again. He began to write.

Every breath I take is filled with a thought of you

My lungs are orchestrated by a melody of love

A sweet music pumped up by my heart

It roams and plays freely in my body all around

Rings in my soul

Touches my mind

Leaves them speechless to the beauty of the sound

And as I get lost in this symphony of beats, hot pulses, lows, and highs

At a place where the universe is found

I dream of you, I long for you, I crave you, I love you

With every breath I inhale, exhale

I only could ever dream of you

With a content smile, the brunet sealed the letter and set it on his nightstand as he lay down to sleep. In his slumber, all he could think of was his senpai. Would they like the letter? Would they resent him? He shook off the thought as he rested through the night.

The next day at school he walked through the halls, clutching the letter and tugging on his coat sleeve. He recieved smiles and waves from a few of the girls on the school cheer squad and friendly greetings from classmates. He searched the halls for his beloved, hoping to slip the letter in their bag. When he had no success, he slipped it into their locker and walked away.

All throughout the day, the only thought that he could possibly think was if his senpai got the letter. He couldn't focus in class, at lunch, at sports practice, or in drama club. The end of the school day neared and he began to worry. Did he put it in the wrong locker? Was he being avoided? Was this all a huge mistake? Or maybe they just hadn't opened the letter yet. Yeah, that had to be it.

He began to walk down the hall again once the day was over, but a warm hand on his shoulder stopped him. He whipped around as he stood face to face with his beloved. His blue eyes locked with the gorgeous green eyes of his senpai. He blushed and opened his mouth to speak, but was not able to say anything.

"I got the letter,"

The brunet blushed deeper and looked at the floor.

"It's nice..."

The brunet peered up at the blond with this comment.

"I... like you too,"

The brunet raised his eyebrows in shock and smiled.

The blond let out a long sigh, "Ok, Chen. I tried and I couldn't crack you. You win,"

"Yessss," Chen snickered, "ok you have NO IDEA how hard it is to stay quiet. Ok, Garmadon, pay up,"

Lloyd fished in his pocket to find loose change, "You didn't mean what you said in the letter, did you?"

"Pfft, heck no. I just did what you told me to do; write a love letter to you and pretend we are in a cliche, soundless romantic comedy for a day and see if you can crack me. You don't actually like me, right?"

"Of course not. We're just friends. Besides... I'm with Nya, remember?" Lloyd chuckled and handed Chen the loose change from his pocket.

"Yeah, but I'm single..."

"Boi, you take this letter and give it to Maggie," Lloyd shoved the letter into Chen's arms.

"What?! No! Besides... this was supposed to be a oneshot about you and me,"

"Oh yeah... then... LET'S MAKE IT A TWO SHOT!" Lloyd enthusiastically shouted.

"...ok," Chen sheepishly smiled as the first part of this twoshot comes to and end.

To be continued...
