AN: This is a pantoum style poem, where lines repeat at certain times. It's one of the more challenging forms of poetry if you're not used to it, but I thought I'd try it out anyway.
I love you Mary Jane.
I know it seems silly,
But I simply had to say,
My love will never die.
I know it seems silly,
When I'm a million miles away.
My love will never die.
How can my love be wrong?
When I'm a million miles away,
Trapped behind a barbed wire cage.
How can my love be wrong,
While I fight this war for you?
Trapped behind a barbed wire cage,
My heart aches with love for you.
While I fight this war for you,
I hope you'll stay true.
My heart aches with love for you,
But I simply had to say,
I hope you'll stay true.
I love you Mary Jane.
