Annabeth watched the fire crackle while she drank her hot coco it gave her a warm feeling inside of her. For once she was at peace not having to worry about any wars, or angry gods, or she was at peace until she heard a crash coming from the other room. Annabeth quickly jumped from the soft couch, grabbed her knife and ran to the other room, she was pleased to see it was just Percy attempting to get the Christmas tree threw the small apartment door. "Help" he grunted. Annabeth just laughed at him and his stupid tactic to get the tree through, he was shoving the bottom through the door first effectively getting pine needles everywhere. Annabeth went up and shoved the tree back through the door and positioned it the corrected way which made it slide in easily. Together they put the tree in the living room behind the couch; Annabeth went to get the vacuum to clean up all the pine needles while Percy went to get the tree ornaments from the storage room. Once Annabeth was done cleaning up Percy's mess she came in to see that he had already started putting up decorations.
"Seaweed brain I thought we said we were going to do this together." Annabeth stated.
"Sorry wise girl I got excited, I just love Christmas!" he practically jumped saying this, which caused Annabeth to laugh once again. Annabeth walked up and started to help him decorate. About two hours later they had finished and the tree was a master piece, with the star on top that sparkled in the moon light, and the ornaments seemed to glow. The tree looked spectacular. After admiring there work of art for a little bit Percy and Annabeth decided to make some sugar cookies.
The making of the sugar cookies didn't go as planned, meaning Percy was covered in flour and cookie dough and Annabeth was holding a tray of cookies disguised as charcoal.
"Your right seaweed brain the cookie making should be left for your mom" Annabeth stated
"Told you" Percy teased
"Don't push it"
"Sorry"
After the two of them had cleaned up Annabeth made a new batch of hot chocolate and sat back on the couch, a few minutes later Percy joined her. They snuggled up together in front of the fire with the Christmas tree shining in the back ground. Nothing could disrupt this Percabeth Christmas.
