Gilbert hadn't forgotten about Hungary over the years or about their first kiss.
He just hadn't found an awesome enough way to confess to her; plus she was currently living with that prick, Austria.
He twirled the red roses that he held nervously, though he would never admit to feeling that way; he was too awesome to feel nervous.
He rang the doorbell, and waited for Elizabeta to open the door.
Hungary opened the door in what Prussia thought was a ridiculous dress; Hungary was meant to fight not act like Austria's maid and keep house.
"I was wondering if you would go out with the awesome me?" He asked her.
"Gil, come in. I have to explain something to you." She announced, and took the flowers from him before she led him in to the house.
When she didn't hear him answer, she turned to him to explain what she had meant when she had said that she had to explain something to him, "I love Austria and I love you."
Hungary didn't show it, but she was scared to death of how either man in question would take that news.
"What?" He had originally thought that he might have to leave soon, but he hadn't expected this!
"I would love to be with the two of you romantically if you would have me." Hungary tacked on; why couldn't she just choose one or the other?
"What if I don't want to be that close to Austria?" Prussia tried to be civil as he asked that question.
"Then you have to go home." She refused to hurt Austria that way as he was her husband, she had to put him before her other love in this instance; she held out the flowers to Prussia to take.
If she couldn't go out with them both, it would be hard to explain the flowers.
"Okay, fine. I can put up with the sissy that you married." He rolled his eyes.
Elizabeta squealed, and hugged him; all seemed right with the world once again.
It took a lot more convincing to get Austria to agree to this relationship; funny, Hungary didn't feel the need to threaten him like she had Prussia.
They did fall in to a routine after Roderich agreed to this relationship, and Prussia moved in to Austria and Hungary's house.
Eventually, the time came for Prussia to tell his best friends about his relationship.
"I have some awesome and some unawesome news to tell you." Gilbert began.
"What news?" Spain asked with his usual, bright smile.
"I am dating Lizzy, but she is also dating Roddy." Gilbert answered; the last part had been stated bitterly.
"How does that work?" France and Spain asked in unison.
"Just like I said it did. Lizzy's so awesome that she needs two people." Prussia told his friends.
Prussia wouldn't have minded hanging out with his two best friends, but Roderich was sick and hadn't even been invited.
Despite everything, a kinship had formed between Prussia and Austria; they both loved the same woman and lived under they same roof, so they had to at least tolerate one another.
The sort of domesticness had brought them even closer has friends as well.
Now both Gilbert and Elizabeta were worried sick about the Austrian.
