So. Little situation happened. I uploaded a "story" called Saying Goodbye! In case you didn't see it before I deleted it, here is what it said:

"Hello, dear followers and favorites!

I've been on this website for a little over two years, and I have never ceased to be completely blown away by the responses to the stories I started posting when I was nineteen-years-old, and to the ones I began writing when I was barely seventeen. I want to say thank you for the support, love, comments, favorites, and follows.

But now it's time for me to say goodbye to the fanfiction writing world!

Things have just gotten too crazy with school and everything, so I will be deactivating my account. I might return in a year or two (after my college graduation), but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm going to deactivate my account one week from today so that my favoriters and followers will have enough notice.

I am so sad to be saying goodbye, but I will always remember my time on this site and all of the people I was able to meet virtually! If anyone would like to keep in touch, my email is goshinote at gmail . com

Just remove the spaces and send me an email!

Although my account will be deactivated, I will still have copies of all my stories on my laptop. If you would like a copy of any of them, shoot me a message or an email and I will gladly send you a copy for you to keep! And I'll still be reading as a guest every so often, so I won't completely disappear.

Thank you all again so much for everything."

Lol well funny story. Someone reported that upload because it wasn't technically a story (which I understand of course, but still like…?) soooo I'm adding a little one-shot in and re-posting it so that I'll actually have a story in it this time. I don't really get why someone reported it considering I'm deleting everything in a week but oh well lol.

But yes. I am leaving the fanfiction world. I'll miss everyone so much!

Saying Goodbye (Part 2)!

A soft hand on his cheek made his eyes drift open.

Blue-gray eyes met golden ones, and Inuyasha took in a breath.

Her scent. The scent he had memorized and could pick out of a line-up of a million people. It was her.

Kagome stood above him, leaning over to touch his cheek as if to wake him up.

"What are you doing?" she asked. "I'm waiting for you." Inuyasha just continued to look up at her, a soft smile playing on her lips.

"I waited for three days, Inuyasha," she continued. "And you came. But now I'm waiting again."

The image of Kagome running out of the well to embrace her family after the three days in the darkness flashed into Inuyasha's mind. Her smile was bright at the reunion, and there had been tears of happiness in her eyes when she had turned back to Inuyasha.

Then he had begun to fade and the tears turned to sadness.

And then she was gone.

The well had pushed him back to his time with no explanation. All he wanted was to be with Kagome.

He'd told the others what had happened and then found the highest tree he could find. Sleep evaded him until he finally felt his eyes droop almost painfully.

Now Kagome was there with him.

"Kagome," he finally said. "How long will you wait?" Kagome's hand lightly moved up and down his cheek as she spoke.

"As long as it takes." Her smile was still there, her eyes bright with assurance and something else he didn't quite trust himself to believe was really there.

"I'll see you soon," she murmured as she leaned down.

The barest hint of a kiss brushed his cheek as his eyes slid shut.

When he awoke, he felt a warmth in his heart.

Kagome had waited for him.

So he would wait for her.

FIN.

Thank you all so much for everything!

Much love,

Jane
