Michael Myers' Arcade Mode Ending
A Short Mortal Kombat 11/Halloween Crossover Fanfic
After he had murdered Kronika, Michael Myers felt as if his blood lust had finally been quenched. For the first time since he was a boy, he could think clearly, his mind suddenly void of any murderous or vicious thoughts. It seemed as though defeating Kronika had cured Michael of his insanity. With a clear head, Michael had started to think about the past few decades of his life and all the innocent lives he had taken. The movie star and his family, Aaron Korey and his assistant, Laurie Strode's friends, and most importantly, his sister Judith Myers. Ripping off his mask, Michael sank to his knees and began sobbing uncontrollably, deeply regretting his actions. If only there were some way to prevent himself from ever becoming a cold-hearted killer...
Luckily for him, there was.
Using Kronika's hourglass, Michael Myers shot himself across space time, all the way back to Haddonfield, Illinois on October 31, 1963. Arriving in the nick of time, Michael burst into his sister's bedroom just as his younger self was about to stab her. He tackled himself to the ground, knocking the butcher knife out of his younger self's hand. Swiftly picking it up, the adult Michael Myers began stabbing the boy below him until he was sure that he was dead.
As Michael started to fade from existence, he looked upon his sister. Knowing that his actions meant that he would no longer exist, and therefore nobody would be hurt by him ever again, Michael smiled. The children who roamed the streets of their neighborhoods during Halloween could now do so in peace now that the boogeyman had been defeated…
Author's Note: Hope you guys enjoyed this short story of my interpretation of what Michael Myers' arcade mode ending would be if he were added as a guest character to the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. If you did enjoy this story, I'm happy to announce that I plan to make more arcade mode ending stories, specifically ones staring Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise and Link from the Legend of Zelda franchise. Feel free to review the story if you'd like, your criticism is very important to me, as it allows me to improve my writing abilities. Thanks for reading!
