Feedback?:      Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?! ^_^

Notes:              I don't like Ajedrez, but perhaps she does deserve a tiny smidgen of compassion… mo matter how big a bitch she is…

Fire. That was the first thought that entered his mind when those whirring metallic… things… entered his head. Fire. Heat so intense it felt as if his head were exploding.

There was fire in his eyes.

Correction: there were motherfucking metal drills in his eyes.

He felt those spinning fuckers enter his right eyeball and let loose a tortured shriek when he felt the fire erupt in his head. Felt as they twisted around, around, around, beating his eyeball to a bloody pulp, shredding his eyelids, scraping against his skull.

Fire!

FIRE!!!!!!

But after the initial scream as his right eye was screwed out, he kept his left open. It took every single ounce of willpower in his being; but he did it. Though his mind was reeling with infinite agony, he forced his left eyelids from clamping shut, forcing himself to hold onto his last few seconds of sight.

His maimed, throbbing, two-dimensional vision focused on her face.

Ajedrez.

Fire!

The drills were removed, and he felt a surge of sludgy liquid heat bubble up from his eye… from his eye socket. The sickly metallic smell of blood reached his nostrils, sucking in air and blowing it out in short, gasping breaths. He had no control over his mouth. What could have been saliva… might've been blood… oozed from his cracked lips, blocking his airway. He nearly passed out.

But still he kept his one remaining eye open and trained on her face. He ignored the fire searing through his face, his brain, his eyes… his eye. Tried to ignore it. Tried to ignore the inferno consuming his thoughts and what sanity he might've still had up until that point.

He stared at her gorgeous, flawless, traitorous face with an eye and a skull-hole full of blood and eye shit.

A single tear crawled its way down her cheek, betraying her detached coldness.

A single tear, tracing a crystalline path from her dark, glaring eyes.

He watched as it hesitated upon reaching her chin, then dropped, sparkling in the lamplight, losing sight of it only when it landed with a faint plash in the puddle of oozing muck burning its way down his own face.

A single tear.

Then, the whirring metal drills.

And then, almost immediately – More fire.
