„What the hell? I can't show up without my shoes…" a noticeably nervous Harry Potter mumbled.
"Take it easy, Harry. They're right in front of you," his best friend Ron Weasley, who unlike the Weasley twins and Draco Malfoy had managed to stifle his laughter, reassured him.
"Oh,…thanks ,Ron. I didn't notice them…"
"Hey, Harry. How about you drink some firewhiskey? It calms you down and at the moment you could really use that…" Draco said with a grin.
"Shut up, Malfoy. No one asked your opinion…"
"He's right, Harry. You've got to relax," Fred agreed.
"Your nervousness is understandable, but how do you intend to get through this day and night when you're so extremely nervous," George said winking at his friend.
"Just leave Harry alone already. He's nowhere near as nervous as you were…"
"Forget it, Ron…I really am a nervous wreck, maybe I should drink a bit before…"
"No way, Harry, they'll kill me when they find out…," Ron whined. "Oi, Fred. Don't give him the bottle! I don't care if I have to…"
"Petrificus Totalus," Draco said almost bored. "Don't worry, Harry, I'll lift the curse in time…In 5 minutes to be exact. But only after you drank something, mate."
"I look terrible, I can't leave the room like that. Impossible…"Hermione Granger mumbled, while she looked at herself in the mirror distraught.
Ginny Weasley just rolled her eyes in annoyance ."Hermione Jane Granger! Stop getting on my nerves. You look fantastic and I'm not just saying that because you are my best friend, but because it is the truth. You know exactly I would never let you walk around looking bad on an important day like this."
"Has she still not calmed down?" Lavender Brown asked, smiling knowingly as she entered the room.
"Mione, there's absolutely no reason to be nervous, you are a beautiful bride and you are about to marry a man who loves you very much," Rachel Granger told her daughter.
"But what if he changes his mind…"Hermione murmured sheepishly.
Before Ginny or any of the other women could say something, Hermione's father interfered. "Now you listen well, sweetheart. I've seen the look in his eyes when he sees you and believe me no man who looks at a woman like that would ever think about leaving her in front of the altar. And now I want you to take a deep breath before we go out there. You don't want to let the poor boy wait any longer, do you?"
"And now I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your wife."
Harry caressed her cheek lovingly before he pulled her close and kissed his new wife while their friends and family cheered their union.
"You look gorgeous, Mrs Potter," he said smiling brightly.
Hermione blushed slightly. "You don't look too bad yourself…Harry?"
"Yes?"
"You drank firewhiskey…" she said with a smile.
"But only because I was so nervous before the wedding, Mione."
"What did you just say? Did you really drink firewhiskey before your wedding, Harry?" Mrs Weasley asked shocked. "And your best man, my own son, didn't stop you? RONALD WEASLEY! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!"
"What did I tell you guys," Ron mumbled turning beet red as he tried to hide behind his brothers and Draco, who desperately tried to look innocent to escape the wrath of the witch in front of them.
