Author's Note: Here I go with the one-shots again. Actually, I'm thinking this is a potential chapter story: but it's up to you. Let me know. This is more a a humorous story.

-Disclaimer-
I don't own Rikku or any FF characters.

Rikku looked on to the light bright sky blue of the horizon as she sailed on from Kilika island. She had to say that being off on her own had it's rewards. The freedom to pilfer and run amuck had been more fun than she had imagined, but she was sometimes lonely because Yuna had left with Tidus. Boy did she feel like a third well with those two around. And Brother had gotten on her nerves with his whining about Yuna not choosing him. Well, what was she thinking! Going off on her own was spectacular! The Calm was restored thanks to the Gullwings! No more worrying about those silly things.

She sat on the deck, thinking about where she would go next. There were no more fiends to fight. She had already been run out of Kilika for 'borrowing' Dona's weapons. That was a sure mistake. Sharp objects hurt! Maybe she would work in Bikanel for awhile. She probably had to go to the Djose Temple to get yet another certificate, however. The pilot sure didn't like when she snatched half of his gil from his pocket when he wasn't looking. So she sailed on, letting the sea take her where it willed.

Rikku never thought it was a problem. All the things she treasured below deck were hers, she took them fair and square. The jewels, the spheres, the gil: all of those belonged to the greatest theif to live!

Or so she liked to say to herself.

Her boat landed, and she traveled on foot to Djose Temple. She hoped she could sweet-talk Gippal into another job at Bikanel, it was fun to drive the boss insane there.

Humming "real emotion" to herself as she traveled down the road, she saw two potential prospects walking aimlessly towards the bridge to the temple. One had an absolutely astonishing lime green dress with gold trimming. It was so extravagant that Rikku knew that this girl was loaded! The man walking with her had breeches and a ruffled shirt. He was very noble looking, Rikku thought he was a cutie! She snuck to the bridge, making sure no one took notice of her. There was no use to make a scene...yet. She acted as if she was looking out into the water, but she was really observing her targets. They were close, and getting closer. She started to saunter to the center of the walkway, making sure that she was in time with the travelers. Now was her chance.

First, she 'accidentally' bumped into the woman. Rikku saw the surprised look on the woman's face, and she took her chance and snatched the contents of the purse.

"Oh my gosh!" she said as she passed on to the man. She fell to the floor on purpose, tripping the man and watching as he collided with the ground. Hopping up fast, she helped him up with one arm, while with the other clearing out his pockets. She dusted him off, then headed on her way back to where she had come from.

Luca seemed like a better place to go now that she had enough to buy some sphere coins.

As she headed back to her ship, she thought she heard a noise. Before she could react she felt a net cover her and someone hit her over the head. "Ohh..." She murmured as she fell out of conciousness.

Yuna and Tidus sighed as they pulled young Rikku on their ship. They sat down together, wondering what had gone so wrong. Rikku was a nice girl, why would she become so involved in theft? Hopefully the place they were taking her would be able to help her with her problem.

And so they arrived at Thieves Anonymous.
