Homecoming

Her body arched sinfully against his, which made him grin. Her arms snaked around his neck, bringing his head down to meet hers. She paused for a moment, just a fraction away from their lips coming together. "Are you sure?" she whispered to him, wanting to know if this was what he truly wanted.

He inched his head forward to answer her with a detailed response in a passionate kiss. She gave the kiss back with equal passion and tried to get even closer to him, which was impossible as there was no space between them already. His tongue gently opened her lips and soon found itself being forced back into it's own mouth by her tongue.

A soft moan came from her said mouth, urging him to deepen the kiss. He lifted her up so their mouths were at an equal height and groaned when he felt her strong legs wrap themselves around his waist, pulling him even closer to her body.

They slowly, regretfully, broke apart, for the air that they desperately needed. Breathing heavily, they gazed into one another's eyes, unsure what to say.

"Did you have a good summer?" she inwardly kicked herself for such a stupid question, but it was too late.

"Lousy, miserable. How was yours?" he gave her a small sweet smile that was so unlike him, but at the same time she realised that it was him.

"The same, only I was at the beach." She paused, unsure if she should say what she really wanted to.

Instead, he said it for her. "I missed you." "I missed you too. Do you think we could go back to where we used to be?" He looked at her, seriously. "Do you forgive me?"

She nodded, feeling her eyes water up. "I realised what I was actually throwing away, and that I love you far too much to let that happen. You did hurt me, but this summer made me realise what my life would be like without you in it."

He gave her a tender smile, one that she knew was only meant for her. "Thank you, Doll. I can't believe that I'm gonna say this, but I realised what my life would be like without you in it and I never want that to happen. I love you Jackie." He gave her a sweet and simple kiss, content that she was back with him for good.

She slid her body slowly down his and moved away from his arms. Looking up into his eyes, she saw the truth of his love there, and couldn't help but cry. "I love you too, Steven. Promise me that nothing will ever break us apart ever again."

Again he didn't use words to convey his response, but instead swept the love of his life into his arms and gave her an earth-shattering kiss that sealed their fate as one.
