"Nate?"
"What? Oh, hey Mitchie."
"Um, what are you still doing out here? Everyone else went back to their cabins an hour ago."
"Well...you know...I like watching the fire and the glowing embers and...stuff."
"Okay then."
"No, I was just thinking and lost track of time, I guess."
"Yes, it's been a long day. Aren't you tired from the performance? God, I was so scared that Camp Rock wouldn't be around next year, but I guess all's well that ends well. Whoa, it's getting kinda cold, you should come inside-"
"Mitchie, wait."
"Yeah?"
"Aren't you going to ask what I was thinking about?"
"Do you want me to? I always took you as one of those intense rockstars that like to wallow in their emotions."
"Only on weekdays."
"Haha. So, what's been bothering you?"
"Dana."
"You mean your new girlfriend?"
"Uh, what are you doing?"
"I was trying to nudge you but then you moved. Jerk. Anyway, what about Dana?"
"I'm confused about her."
"What do you mean?"
"I like her, I mean, I took the time to write a frickin song about all the random crap about me that no one cares about except for her. It's just..."
"Just what? If you like the girl, and she obviously likes you, what's stopping you from asking her out?"
"..."
"Nate?"
"..."
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Stupid best friend code."
"Um..."
"I wish I was forced to teach classes here at Camp Rock as a form of punishment from Brown last summer."
"...huh?"
"I wish it was me instead of Shane."
"Seriously, Nate, I don't really understand what you're saying."
"Mitchie Torres, do you want to know why I can't bring myself to ask Dana out?"
"...?"
"Because I'm in love. With you."
One-shots written at 1:32 am tend to be unpredictable. Oh well. Camp Rock 2 okay, I guess. Of course, Disney wasn't going to suddenly make it Nitchie so I didn't have my expectations up :D
Review, por favor.
