...
Leo shook his brother awake. Donnie's maroon eyes blinked open. "Dude, I'm trying to sleep," he complained groggily.
Leo's heart was hammering so fast he thougjt it might explode. He wouldn't have roused his brother if something wasn't wrong. And sommething was definately couldn't suppress his mounting feelings of cold dread.
"Something's happening," Leo whispered, wide-eyed. "Something bad."
"What?" questioned his brother skeptically.
Leo felt his face redden. "Well, I don't know exactly, but-"
"And how do you know at all?" Donnie interrupted.
"Well, it's kinda just a feeling, but-"
"Go back to sleep, Leo," Donnie said with a heavy sigh.
Leo's lips curled back in a snarl. "This is not nothing, Donnie!" he warned. "We're in danger!"
"Whatever," Donnie said. He curled back upon his bed. "Go away."
Leo stared at his brother helpessly for a , he turned away to return to his own room. He gasped.
A dark portal swirled in front of him, sucking at his shell.
The last thing he remembered was being hurtled into darkness at a million miles an hour.
Again, thanks so much for reading. I really appreciate it. Don't forget to review!
