"Hey Scorpius," Albus called."Do you want to go camping with my family this weekend?"
"Camping? That sounds fun!" exclaimed Scorpius.
When the weekend finally came, the Potters and Weasleys plus one Scorpius Malfoy found themselves at a campground with a big pile of luggage.
"Let's get this tent set up!" said Harry. And they got the tent set up in no time at all because they are wizards and can use magic.
Once the tent was set up everyone went hiking. They hiked to a waterfall, which was not an easy hike with such a large group of people. And James pushed Albus into the water, which Harry made him apologize for but no one believed it and no one cares except Albus. After the hike everybody went fishing. They caught regular fish like trout as well as some of the more magaical varieties. They set up a campfire to cook the fish for dinner. After dinner, they made s'mores.
"Do you know any good scary stories?" asked Albus.
"Well, I do know one," responded Scorpius.
"There once was an old woman who was gardening in her garden. She found half a wand among the vegetables, and picked it up to keep it for herself and see if she could repair it. Later that night, she heard a long, drawn out voice down the street saying,
'"Where is my wand?"'
Then she heard it in the garden,
'"Where is my wand?"'
And at the bottom of her stairs,
'"Where is my wand?"'
And then at the foot of her bed-do I seriously need to tell you what the voice said?"
"Nah dude, just get on with the story."
"Okay, the next morning, the old woman was found dead. When the aurors arrived, they found the wand half completely defunct but with a slightly green glow. The end."
"I have one!" said Albus. "There once were two girls at a summer camp who were staying in cabin 9.. One had the top bunk and the other had the bottom. It was nighttime, and the girl on the top bunk heard counting from the bottom- '"one, two, three."' She assumes it's the girl below her counting sheep and she takes no notice of it. Later she wakes up and hears, '"Seven thousand, seven thousand and one, seven thousand and two."' Again, she thinks the girl is still counting sheep. She wakes up in the morning and hears, "Twenty thousand and thirty six, twenty thousand and thirty seven, twenty thousand and thirty eight."' The girl on the top bunk realizes that this is getting crazy and looks down, only to see an old woman who had chopped her roommates head off and was counting the hairs. The end."
"That's not scary," said Scorpius. "I mean, we go to Hogwarts. That's the real horror story."
"Yep, pretty much," said Albus.
