wonders if he smells the guilt and another man's cologne on her skin,
sniffing out the evidence that she's been
wandering with more than just her .:eyes:.
Because curiosity always did get the best of a Weaslette
and we are all blood traitors in bed
(or so Malfoy says).
And love and hate or [whatever this is]
has nothing to do with it.
That Slytherin logic has invaded her brain
like a parasitic growth that she wishes she could blame
because he's made her believe that she was meant for more
than hanging on a hero's arm
and cleaning up the aftermath
of a war still b.e.a.t.i.n.g its drum inside her head
keeping time with the ((thrust)) of his hips.
So she spends her nights with her back to her husband
and her Saturday afternoons carving b/r\o/k\e/n promises
into pale, pale skin,
tangled up in silk
of sheets and her own web of lies
she's spun (around herself)
to suffocate her guilt.
But in the end she's tossing and turning
and she's wonderingbelievinghoping Harry notices
when deep down she knows
he doesn't have a clue.
