Dimensional Damsel Prologue
Ariana's POV
Darkness. That's all I could remember before I met them. Them being a group of Mobians that I changed the lives of forever. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
My name is Ariana. I'm a 16-year-old Necronian fox. Necronia is a dimension in an alternate universe almost exactly like Mobius. The only difference being our abilities. Almost every other Mobian has super speed or strength. One in fifty has a kinetic ability or the ability to use Chaos Control. Almost every Necronian has the latter. In 2876, Necronians developed a mutation that allowed them to harness the elements and master the Chaos Energy. Most modern Necronian are born with these abilities. Necronians like me.
My story begins in the dead of night, to be precise, on the first day of the Mobian summer. It was almost pitch black, and I remember feeling disoriented and tired. I was in a forest, I could tell that much, as I had to lean against a wide, hollow tree so I wouldn't fall over. I could hear the loud crack of branches breaking and trees falling down rather close to me. I tried to run, but my legs wouldn't move like I wanted them to.
The cracks and crashes were getting closer, but my body still refused to listen to my brain. I saw two figures, blue and green, jumping back and forth between the trees. Then, one suddenly stopped. The green hedgehog took this chance to attack him while he had his guard down. The blue one crashed to the ground.
"Ha, looks like I've got you down, Blue," A rough voice that belonged to the green hedgehog taunted, "Now to finish you off forever."
In one swift move, the blue hedgehog tripped the green one and had him down with one foot.
"In your dreams, Scourge," the blue hedgehog retorted, "Lucky for you, I won't kill you, but I can't guarantee you Zonic won't." The hedgehog took out a blue Chaos Emerald from the bag he was holding.
"CHAOS CONTROL!" He yelled powerfully.
"NO!" Scourge screamed as he disappeared.
The blue figure started walking in my direction. By this time, I felt so weak and defenseless, my legs gave out on me and I sank to the ground, unable to move or even use my voice. In my dazed state, I barely noticed he picked me up.
"Hey, are you okay? What's your name"? I could barely make out his questions; I could feel myself slipping away.
"I-I'm Ariana..." I barely whispered before I fell into unconsciousness.
