Massive thank you to my wonderful beta, MrsBates93

It was easy to spot her through the crowd as she skipped towards Ginny Weasley. He smiled and followed her path along the platform, thinking of all the little reasons that had led him to do this.

Her smile; even if it was just a small curve of her mouth, it was beautiful and infectious.

When she smiled, the whole world smiled with her.

Her hair; those long golden strands, flowing in an almost elegant manner behind every move she made. He could picture himself threading flowers through her hair on a hot summer's day.

Her eyes; the silvery-grey orbs held a slight sparkle to them, and when she looked at you, it was like she was seeing into your very soul.

Her lack of fear; she had stood face to face with Death Eaters multiple times and never shown any fear. Even during the final battle, she had been fearless, firing curses and hexes at anyone who was not an ally.

Her pride; she wasn't ashamed of anything. She took pride in her beliefs and in herself. She didn't care what people thought of her. She was truly a free-spirit.

All of these reasons and more made her unique, and that was what he loved about her.

He finally caught up with her, she was showing Ginny the fairy wings he had given her. She loved them, just as he knew she would.

"Luna."

She turned, smiling when she saw him. "Hello Neville."

"Can I talk to you?" Neville asked. He cast a quick glance at Ginny. "In private."

Her brow furrowed for just a moment before she turned back to Ginny. "Save me a seat?"

Ginny nodded and climbed aboard the train. Neville took Luna's hand and led her out of the bustling crowd.

"Luna, there's something I need to tell you, and I don't quite know how to say it so I'm just gonna say it." He took a deep breath, summoning his Gryffindor courage. "I think I love you."

Luna smiled, her eyes lighting up. "That's great Neville."

"It is?"

She laughed. "Of course it is." She leaned up and kissed him. "I think I love you too."

The Hogwarts Express whistled in the background, a warning that it would be leaving soon.

Neville helped Luna carry her trunk onto the train, kissing her once more. He stood on the platform and watched the train leave, a grin plastered on his face.

Life with Luna Lovegood was certainly interesting.
