Well hello again ladies and gentleman. Since I did a review for the last two, I might as Well do one for this one also. So this is a review on the new Alpha and Omega: The legend of The Sawtooth cave. Which is only available on iTunes is what I hear. I will spoil here and there but not everything of course. So if this is Not what you came for, then I would stop here.
So, lets get started.
To start things off, I will say right now that in all of the other sequels to Alpha and Omega this one is the best by far. Crest Animation finally took a step forward in the right direction.
-Pros and cons-
Pros:
Much clearer picture and far better animation then the last two
New and better Characters
More Interaction between characters
Scenes that are not very predictable
Wolves do what wolves are suppose to do
Cons:
The animation was better, but not as good as the first
The same voice acting as the last sequels
Now, just some spoilers:
First of all, All character from the first movie are in here, Except Garth, Berry sisters, The omega brothers, Hutch, and Cando. But I find this okay, because we meet a bunch of new characters that fit very well with the old ones and they are perfect for the plot of the movie.
Kate and Humphrey were true stars in this one. This have improved by a lot, and we see them do some things that we never have thought of them doing before, and the interaction, love, jokes, and side comments from them are actually reasonable and it just proves that they were much better to watch then the last two sequels.
The pups are better too. We don't get very much action from Claudette and Stinky, but Runt definitely makes up for it. We again see a side to Runt never thought possible just like we do with Kate and Humphrey.
The characters, new and old, had the perfect script to make the plot of this sound MUCH better than what it really is.
Wrapping it up:
To put it all together, this truly was the best sequel than numbers 2 and 3. I was expecting it to be crappy like the other two, but Crest proved me wrong. Now, don't get me wrong, this still isn't perfect like the actual movie but it is surprisingly pretty close I would say. Someone else who saw this before me said that "this was so good, that this should have been the first sequel instead of the other two." And I couldn't agree more with him.
So all in all, I really enjoyed watching this 45 min short, and to answer the titles question...do we need more after number four? I would say, as long as they keep this improvements up and running...then go right for it.
So, in the end do you recommend watching this?
Absolutely. If your a true A&O fan you will most likely enjoy this like I did with the much better improvements.
Do you recommend buying or renting it?
I'm glad I bought it because it was well worth it. I plan to watch again in the very near future.
I don't have iTunes...will I ever get to see it?
You bet! But unfortunately it does not come out to DVD until October 7th for U.S. (I don't know when for other countries)
How much was it on iTunes?
Well I bought the SD version for like 10 USD. While renting is like 3-5 USD.
Thanks for reading if you did!
Well wasn't that nice...so if you saw the movie or read this review tell me what you think. I am open to anything you have to say.
