Cosmo and Wanda hovered over their goddaughter who had cried her sleep again too many times to count. It broke their hearts to see her so sad, and as fairy godparents it was their job to make her happy, but it wasn't enough. She continued to be broken, and lied to over and over again. They felt like they were failing the most precious girl in their lives.
"If only we could take away, the emotional scars left on her, then she'd be truly happy." Wanda said her beautiful pink eyes filling with tears; she clung to her husband Cosmo who also had tears in his solace green eyes.
"I know," Was all he could mutter through his sobs. "Maybe we should take her with us far away."
Wanda looked him, he wasn't joking. "Maybe you're right. Maybe we should leave with her for a little bit. But where? Not fairy world, Jorgen wouldn't approve."
"Anywhere, we will find a place." Cosmo whisked out his wand, and turned he and his wife human. "I cant stand to see her so sad, not under our care, we will fix this."
Wanda stood in awe of her husband's actions, he hadn't been so responsible with a child other than their own since Timmy. Although Cosmo wasn't the smartest bulb in the bunch he loved the certain children he looked after. Karen was the closest child close to a daughter to Cosmo and Wanda.
"Wake up dear," Wanda gently whispered nudging the sleeping teenager.
"Huh? What is it?" She said with a yawn.
"Come on dearie, we are leaving." Wanda said helping the half awakened girl get up, "Would you carry her Cosmo, she's really not awake enough to walk."
Cosmo nodded and picked up his sleepy godchild in his arms." Ready?" He asked Wanda.
"Yes, I hope this helps. Just the three of us away from everything else." Wanda squeezed Cosmo's hand firmly.
He quickly gave his wife a kiss on the lips. The three of them made their way down the stairs and out the front door. It was totally darkness and the mist of fog. Wanda held up her wand to light the way. They knew they'd find a place, they knew what it would take to make her smile again. That's what Fairy Godparents strive for, to make their children happy.
