Hey guys (: I have a new obsession, as most of you have seen. It is, of course Naitlyn! But I'm taking a break from that to try something new. I'm not sure how I'm going to do, but I'm going to give some JasonElla a shot.

Ella was stuck in a tree. She couldn't remember why she'd gone up there, but she figured it must be something important. She could vaguely remember Tess telling her something about climbing up a tree, but she wasn't sure if she'd imagined it or not. She imagined a lot of things.

She hadn't called out for anyone to help her, because she was scared that if she did they would laugh at her for being up the tree in the first place. Ella didn't like people laughing at her. So she'd sat there for two hours, staring ahead of her at nothing in particular. It wasn't until she heard voices that she turned to a particular position to listen.

"I'm telling you, Natey! Chickens are related to dinosaurs!"
"Jason, have you taken your medication today?"
"No! Wait, I have medication?"

Ella laughed at the familiar voices. One belonged to Nate Gray, and the other his fellow band mate Jason. Ella herself had never talked to either of them – Tess warned her that if she even smiled at them she'd let everyone at Camp know that Ella still had a teddy bear (named Snuffles), and couldn't sleep without him. So she'd kept her distance. But now she wasn't friends with Tess, did that mean she could talk to them? Or was Snuffles still in danger?

Not that she could talk to them while stuck in a tree. They were getting nearer now, and Ella leaned forward slightly, trying to listen to their conversation more. Unfortunately for Ella, balance was not her strong point. She figured this out when instead of leaning slightly forward she lost her balance and tipped forwards. Even though the tree wasn't that high up, Ella still managed landed in a very awkward position. On top of Jason Gray.

It was safe to say that Tess certainly wouldn't expect this.

"Urm." Ella mumbled, embarrassed. She stood up, her face bright red.
Jason looked very confused, and when he finally stood up, he directed his attention to Nate, who looked more shocked then anything.
"Nate! You lied to me! You said girls didn't grow on trees!" He accused.

Ella looked from Jason's hurt face to Nate's confused one quickly. She couldn't believe this. She'd fallen on top of Jason Gray, of all people, looking like some crazy fan, and instead of filing a restraining order he was accusing his band mate of lying to him about girls growing on trees.

"Uh." She said, words failing her.
"Jason, you really need to get a head scan." Nate said before turning and walking away shaking his head.
Which left a very embarrassed Ella with Jason. There was a very long awkward pause, which Ella broke.

"Sorry for … um, falling on you." She said lamely, adjusting her gaze to the floor.
"It's okay. Sorry for saying you grew on the tree."

For any two sane people, this would have been a very strange conversation, but to Ella and Jason, who were very far from sane, it was quite normal, like an everyday happening.

"You couldn't grow on the tree anyway." Jason added, his voice softer then normal.
"Why?" Ella asked, lifting her gaze.
"You're too pretty to grow on a tree." Jason explained, smiling.

And then Ella realised that falling from that tree was probably one of the best things she'd ever done.
