One fine, sunny day, Mickey and Minnie Mouse were out for a walk with Olivia Flaversham.

"Minnie. Mickey. Thank you for taking me for a walk," Olivia said.

"It's our pleasure sweetheart," Minnie replied.

"Yeah, our pleasure!" Mickey chuckled.

Suddenly, two figures lurked in the shadows. It was Ratigan and his evil henchbat with a peg leg, Fidget. Right before Mickey's eyes, they snatched up Minnie and Olivia.

Mickey stood there, stunned, but managed to take off after the girls.

Ratigan and Fidget tied Minnie and Olivia up onto a wooden post.

"Thank you, Fidget," Ratigan said, "If it weren't for your help, I would've had you fed to Felicia."

Fidget let out an evil throaty cackle.

"You wouldn't get away with this!" Olivia shouted.

"Mickey is on his way to save us, you'll see!" Minnie agreed.

Ratigan just walked away, gloating over his revenge. Fidget just stood, watching his boss go and kept his eyes on the prisoners.

"Fidget, listen to me!" Olivia said, trying get Fidget's attention to knock some sense into him. "Ratigan is just using you!"

"Prove it, girlie!" Fidget retorted.

"He never cared about you! He just wants you to do what he says in order for him to hurt you again! Only you can do something."

Fidget was starting to shake over the young mouse's words. What was he going to do? Stand there?

"Only you and Mickey can make this right by saving us," said Minnie.

"It'll be okay," Olivia added gently.

Fidget sighed. "Okay."

Mickey, full of rage shouted at Fidget, "Fidget! How dare you!" Then he knocked the bat down. He was about to pound him when his wife yelled, "Mickey, he's trying to help us!"

Mickey stopped and he and Fidget started cutting the rope and the girls were free.

Mickey held out his hand for Minnie. Fidget held out his for Olivia.

By the time Ratigan came back, he couldn't believe what he was seeing! "Fidget, how could you do this to me?"

"It takes courage to do the right thing," Fidget said.

"And who taught you that?" Ratigan demanded of Fidget.

"These girls you call prisoners," replied Fidget.

Ratigan, wanting revenge on his henchman who set the girls free, nearly lunged at him, but Fidget and the mice ducked and Ratigan fell off the ditch to his death.

Fidget and Mickey did not feel sorry for him at all. Why should they? Ratigan was cruel.

The mice allowed Fidget to walk with them.

"Fidget, thanks for saving these girls," Mickey said.

"You're welcome," Fidget said with a slight giggle.

The End

AN: I'd rather have this story have a happy ending for Fidget's sake because he'd more than likely start to save Minnie and Olivia.
