'I Feel Numb'~
Darkness. Nothing but sheer darkness, and the feeling of not being alone.
Kikyou jumped slightly when she felt a slender, slightly cold hand grasp her wrist and pull her close to it's owner's body, as if she were lighter then air, and not only that, but the body she was being pressed against was rather cool, and yet, it felt eerily familiar.
"...Who are you~?"
"You know me better then anyone, my lady."
Came the reply from a silky, yet deadly cold voice. Kikyou was quite disturbed by it, and how strangely familiar it sounded.
She cringed slightly as a cold hand and it's arm made their way around her bare waist, while the other rested on the middle of her back, and a long, furry something - a tail, perhaps~? - coiled itself around both her legs, tickling the uncovered skin with it's soft, fluffy fur, squeezing almost possesively.
Kikyou was then compelled to wrap her arms around this being, entangling her fingers in his - she was quite positive that this person, whoever they just so happened to be, was male - long, soft hair.
And it then dawned on her.
"...Kuja~?"
Lips were on her neck, and she could feel them curving into a smirk.
"I will break your heart, my dear, sweet Kikyou."
Kikyou gasped, and the next thing she knew, she was sitting straight up in bed, breathing heavily, for her dream, or what seemed to be a dream, had scared her to pieces.
After her breathing had slowed, she turned slowly towards the sleeping form beside her, eyes still wide from when she had woken up.
There, lay her mate, Kuja, sleeping ever so peacefully, gorgeous, silver-blue hair billowing around his shoulders, gleaming in the moonlight that shown from the window inside the gigantic, beautiful Desert Palace where they lived.
"That dream... 'I will break your heart'... That couldn't have been Kuja...Was it~? What did it all mean~?"
Kikyou then slowly shook her head, deciding that it was all just a dream, nothing more, nothing for her to worry about, despite the fact that something in the back of her mind told her it was more then just that, and lay back down beside her beloved, drifting off into a rather uncomfortable sleep.
El endo~
