Victoire Weasley stood in the living room of her brand new house. In her arms was her year old son, Remus Harry Lupin. That's right... She'd forgotten she wasn't Victoire Weasley anymore. She was Mrs Victoire Lupin, proudly married to her childhood best friend, Theodore 'Teddy' Lupin. He was there too, arms wrapped round her waist and laughing at their three year old daughter Nymphadora 'Dora' Lupin running round excitedly, exploring every room, her hair colour changing rapidly. Victoire sighed happily and turned to her husband, "Teddy, do you remember when we first got together? That summer after your last year of Hogwarts." She smiled as he nodded and they both drifted back in time, through their happy memories.

Victoire wasn't sure when her feelings for Teddy first devloped but she did know that the first time she truely felt them was on the way home on the Hogwarts express after her fifth year of Hogwarts ended. Teddy, being Gryffindor head boy, was checking the train to make sure everyone was okay and as soon as he stuck his head in Victoire's carrage she felt her pulse race. "Hey, Vic." He'd said. It wasn't just Victoire in the carrage, there was her cousin, Molly II (Who'd been sorted into Ravenclaw, suprisingly for a Weasley), her sister, Dominique (A Gryffindor, like Victoire), and her best friend, Alex Richardson (Also a Gryffindor and a proud Muggle-born, who'd hex anyone who dares to use the word 'Mudblood' straight to the hospital wing for a month) but Teddy only spoke to Victoire. "I heard you're taking over as Quidditch captain next year... Congrats." His smile had been warm and natural and made Victoire's breath catch.

He stepped into the compartment and gave her a friendly hug, like they always did when they saw each other, but this felt different, almost awkward. He pulled back and looked at her curiously. "No kiss?" He asked with mock disappointment in his voice. Victoire froze for a second before realizing what he'd meant. Being for french decendence, she'd grown up to greet people with a kiss on each cheek. Victoire hoped her Veela blood hid her blush as she laughed and kissed his cheeks. "That better?" She teased.

"Much." He'd replied and for a second it was only them in the carriage. Only a second though as Alex cleared her throat and spoke, biting back a smirk "Shouldn't you be checking the rest of the train, Teddy?" Victoire saw... Something, flicker across his expression as he let go of her and nodded. "You're right... Thanks for reminding me, Alex." There was a hint of bitterness in his voice which melted away in his next sentence. 'See you later, Vic.' and with that he left.

Suddenly the compartment was filled with excited murmers of things like; "Victoire? What the hell was that?" and "Oh. My. Merlin. Victoire!" from her friends and family. "What?" Victoire tried to put innocence in her voice, praying to Dumbledore that they hadn't noticed what had happened between her and Teddy. Alex rolled her eyes and shooke her head slowly, "Don't even try that tone with me, Weasley... I saw what happened with you and Lupin there. You know how wrong it is," Victoire winced, she knew that Teddy was two years older. Not right. Add to the fact Teddy was almost family, Victoire could easily see why Alex thought her crush was so wrong but the next words shocked Victoire to the point she burst out in loud, unattractive laughter. "To keep secrets from your best friend! How long have you been crushing on him, Vic?"
