Alec was rushing through the streets of Brooklyn on December 24th, rushing to buy last minute Chirstmas gifts.

It was already night, snow softly fell on the dirty sidewalks, and floated onto Alec's black hair. His cheeks were rosy from the cold, and his hands were bundled in warm knitted mittens.

He was exhausted. He had hardly slept in the past month, nightmares had eaten away his sleep patterns, and he found it difficult to stay awake during the day .His family was often annoyed with him for having his head up in the clouds contantly, but to be honest, he just didn't care.

It was funny, pleasing his parents used to be his number one priority. That slowly began to change, after he had met Magnus...

Magnus...

Alec had tried to avoid thinking about the topic of Magnus, but it was useless. He never stopped thinking about him, really. Magnus was always lurking somewhere in the back of his mind, resurfacing whenever he had the chance.

Alec sighed and collapsed onto a bench wet with snow. He sighed and realized that once he stood up, his ass was going to be completely wet.

Alec leaned back, and shut his eyes, feeling snow fall and melt down his face. He must have dozed off at one point, because he was startled awake by a figure leaning over him, grasping onto his jacket.
Alec opened his eyes, and tried to focus on what was in front of him. Troubled looking yellow cat eyes, lined lightly in black liner, black hair gelled up in spikes, everything about the person standing in front him was so familiar to Alec.

Alec wanted to curl into him, explore every nook and cranny of his body. But those days were gone.

"Magnus? What are you doing?" Alec whispered horsely.

"I've missed you." Magnus said, still looking troubled. He curled onto the bench next to Alec, still holding on to Alec's jacket.

"I've missed you too." Alec said, louder now. He studied the details of Magnus' almond shaped eyes, examined how the yellow and green blended together.

Magnus leaned in closer to Alec, so that their foreheads were touching.
"Merry Christmas." he whispered, before softly pressing his lips against Alec's.
