Changing Heart

One of the most important things about Leah Clearwater is that she's the sole female were-wolf in La Push's pack. Leah Clearwater was undeniably beautiful as well and undeniably hurting. That was why, one afternoon Leah found herself on the edge of a cliff that at one point of time a girl by the name of Bella Swan had jumped off of in a slight attempted suicide but not actually attempting suicide. Leah had no clue what that meant, but that's what Jacob Black called it and that's what she termed it. Leah was sitting there, her legs dangling down and the wind softly blowing in her hair. It was a nice day, slightly heated but then everything was hot when it came to Leah's temperature. Were-wolves were always extremely hot and sometimes it got a bit irritating. Especially because Leah was stuck in clothing more then the others were.

Another important thing about Leah Clearwater was her hurting. Sam Uley had broken her heart, and kept a piece of it that she needed back to completely heal. Only she didn't know how to get that piece back. Leah hated what happened, but now as a were-wolf herself she understood somehow. She understood imprinting better and knew it was beyond Sam's control but it still didn't stop the pain. There was another emotion in there too. Guilt. She felt guilty for what had happened to cause her to bring frustrations to the pack with those unwanted memories, guilty for breaking her relationship with her cousin off and guilty for being angry.

Leah sat there for a long long time. She wasn't sure how long. The wind tousled her hair, and the light yellow sundress she had worn up there. She tipped her head back letting it caress her skin as she remembered those happy sunny days before Emily's visit, before Sam's imprinting and before her change. Leah knew she'd move on, she was were-wolf wasn't she? Surely she would imprint eventually, wouldn't she? That was what made Leah know what she needed to do next.

She would go to Sam and Emily's and apologize. She'd tell them she was desperately sorry and hopefully they would forgive her. It was a mistake to stay angry with her cousin who hadn't done a single thing except come to visit, and it was wrong to hold something against Sam that he couldn't help. Hadn't he apologized? He had and Leah had been cruel and told him where to put it. Now she realized her mistakes, and maybe just maybe it wasn't too late.

A/N: I figured Leah wasn't a completely horrible person otherwise why would Sam have fallen in love with her before imprinting? Anyway, I just thought I'd write something about her changing of heart towards Sam and Emily. She loved both of them so she'd have to forgive them eventually especially since she's a were-wolf and understands imprinting better then before. And I think I spelled everything correctly but I'm not exactly sure so I hope I did.
