Snape looked around the crowded hall. He noticed all of the teachers were present, and he was seated next to Minerva McGonagall, just his luck. He hadn't liked Minerva since his early days of teaching. She had the tendancy to always do better than him, which was rather annoying really. "Quiet now!" Said Dumbledore over all of the racket, "Welcome back for yet another year at this thriving school, he stared at all the happy, rosey faces of the students, "Now the sorting has finished, it is usually traditionto start the feast," the voices rose. Students got very hungry while waiting, "But,@ The hall fell silent again, "There is one more thing I have to say.We have a new arrival among our vast faculty," He drew a chair with his wand two seats down form Severus. Great, he thought, another one, why would anyone in their right mind want to start teaching as a profession, who would want to teach...kids! He crossed his arms and leaned back slightly in his chair, bored to tears just sitting there rotting away. "Now without further ado, let me introuce the new Muggle Studies teacher, Sonia Quitinity." He gestured to the door and as if on cue it opened. Snape huffed and lent back further, testing the law of gravity, then he saw her, the new teacher. She was magnificent. Wonderful brown haur cascaded down her back. Her slender, curved figured moved with grace. Beautiful shaped fingers clutched onto an armful of books. She wore a black and crimson dress that came just above her knees, a black cloak made of floaty material billowed behind her as she walked. Her legs were slim but strong as they propelled her body along, her high heeled shoes clip clopping on the flagstone floor. Sonia reached the teachers table and Dumbledore shook her hand and said something Snape didn't quite catch. Severus watched in awe as she made made her way to her chair, when she reached him, she stopped turned to him and smiled. A jolt of passion flowed through him and with his head dizzy and loosing his balance, Snape fell flying backwards. Landing on his back, the chair flung from underneath him. The whole room erupted in laughter.
