DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters presented in this story. Abigail Salmon belongs to the "The Lovely Bones" book.
A/N: Again I wrote this piece in grade 8. This is unbeta-ed so again if anyone would like to beta my future fan fictions; please contact me by messaging me on here. Again (gosh I said the word three times already), I recommend you listen to "Crying Shame" by Jade. As for future fan fictions; I tend to write with a song to inspire me. On with the story already. :P Reviews are loved and silent readers are frowned upon.
A story begins in the break of her perfection
after all that is said and done
ice to the touch
Glass crack split
along the lost hopefulness
surrendering with a need
Pieces cut through by one
catching reflections left behind
a broken trail
Shifting gleams of light
naivety fails to deceive the truth
becoming weak in strength
Shards suspend in the atmosphere
only to descend into wonder
along with understanding
Upon disintegrating
scars down her face run deep
clinging to what's left
In the mass of her lies
she drifts
a crying shame
