AN: This is just for fun, really. I wanted to see Sakura get the chance to protect someone/seek revenge at some point. Shounen Hero style.

Fury

Her scream split the air with a violence that tore so completely through it the sound should have left a void in its wake, sheering air this way and that to make room so quickly that nothing could rush back in time to follow it.

Her fingers curled and blood ran down her arms.

His blood.

Her teeth grit in a snarl, and she shot from the ground with the force of a small explosion.

"Sakura–!"

She ignored the shout of warning. Of alarm. Of worry.

That one.

That one hurt him.

It didn't matter that he was some kind of demi-god. She was going to decimate him.

Her fist crashed into an invisible wall with so much force that trees several yards away exploded into splinters. "I'll kill you!"

A man who should have long been dead considered her with a cold gaze that threatened to freeze her to the core, had stopped her from moving enough to even breathe once. A feral grin broke out across twisted lips.

"You'll have to do better than that if you want to entertai–" She slammed her foot into the ground. The earth itself abruptly burst up under his feet and catapulted him into a nearby cliff side.

"Sakura, please!" The voice called behind her, halting her before she could charge at him again. "I'm gonna lose him if you don't help!"

She clenched her first over one of her wrists and shook her head quickly.

Protecting Sasuke. That was most important. After she did that…then she'd find a way to tear Madara in half. With her bare hands, or with the nearest mountain.

She wasn't choosy.

AN: The moral of the story is that while some people might be totally impervious to injury or damage, they still need the ground they stand on to stay put.

Or something along those lines.
