A man with stunning royal blue eyes sat at the edge of the cliff, staring at the beautiful sunset horizon before him. After years of wandering around the world with his healing heart, he has set camp inside a forest in the Greek isles and continued to train himself with the help of his father.
The only person who really cared.
Perseus 'Percy' Jackson, the Bane of many immortals was now a changed person. After his heart was broken by the woman he loved the most, he wandered the earth, his path astray. And then, found the mightiest of beings who wanted him to be their successors. He agreed and promised them not to be blinded by the power he held in his hands.
Now, he was the right-hand man of the most powerful being in the universe with the power to change his appearance as he wills it. Today, Percy had royal blue eyes with specks of gold and shiny windswept blonde hair, wearing a blue hoodie and running pants with Chaos' symbol on it.
He sat on the edge of the cliff undisturbed until his earpiece rang and he answered the call.
"Hello!"
"Perseus, we have a meeting in half an hour and I will not tolerate tardiness from you, young man. You hear me?" the woman reminded on the other line and Percy grinned to himself.
"Please don't worry, it's not like it takes long to teleport from one place to another. I will be there accordingly." He sassed in his defense before his adoptive mother replied.
"You should be since we have something major to discuss. Now, Ciao!" She hung up cheerily afterward.
Percy sighed at her antics before smiling to himself admiring the clear blue skies above him. Just then, he felt something fly above his head.
Turning around he saw an 18-year old with auburn hair and forest green eyes in a silver, ready to shoot another silver arrow at him. At that moment, he knew who she was and then she spoke up in her usual man-hating tone even if she felt waves of power coming from him.
"Identify yourself, young man. And what are you doing here?"
Percy stood up with his hand in the air like a robber getting caught by the police before replying.
"You can call me Jake, Lady Artemis. And to answer that question, I was merely admiring the view but for now, I must leave. I have a meeting to attend to."
Before he could leave, however, Artemis was able to ask one last question to this mystery man in front of her.
"Why do I sense immense power coming from you?" Percy chuckled at the Olympian Goddess and answered.
"You will know, soon."
The iridescent flash of light caused Artemis to squint and close her eyes. When she opened her eyes she found a note on the floor and a necklace with a gold crescent moon design.
To my favored Olympian Goddess,
The necklace when pulled will turn into a bow with an infinite amount of arrows. Just let the bow go from your hands and It will turn back into a necklace. Consider this as a parting gift.
Until we meet again,
Jake.
