A/N: I know it's late. Don't kill me.

Hinata sighed, gazing at Naruto's house. She couldn't help but feel slightly impatient. She had asked Naruto to meet her here, in the garden outside the Hyuga complex. She sighed, playing with her fingers and scuffing her feet in the sand. Naruto had returned from his training with Jiraiya a few days before. Hinata gasped lightly when she heard footsteps approaching. She glanced over out of the corner of her eye. It's him! She thought her heart racing.

"Hey Hinata-Chan!" He called, waving. Hinata smiled, looking up at him and waving back. The blonde came to sit beside her.

"You wanted to ask me something?" Naruto asked. Hinata nodded, once again, returning her gaze to the ground.

"Naruto…I really missed you when you were gone…I had a lot of time to think…and I'm finally going to say this to you…I love you." She breathed, her heart beating furiously. Just as she felt her heart sinking, her head was jerked up. She felt a pair of lips meet hers and her eyes flew open, gazing into Naruto's closed ones. He opened his eyes, removing his mouth from hers. She felt a fire burn her cheeks as he smiled.

"You don't know how long I've been fighting myself to tell you the same thing." He said, relief flooding his voice. Before any of them knew it, they were kissing again, a passionate thing indeed.

"I got you a birthday present." Naruto told her, pulling something out of his pocket. He handed her a gift wrapped box.

"Open it." He asked, smiling. Hinata nodded, carefully removing the wrapping paper. Her eyes filled with tears when she opened the box to find a silver ring. It was a beautiful thing, strands of silver intertwining along its length. But the most beautiful thing about it was the pale blue dove perched on its center. Hnata gasped as a ray of light caught the metal in it's hold, shimmering brightly. Naruto shifted on the bench.

"Hinata-Chan, I love you so much. I know now that you hold the same feelings for me. I've been meaning to ask you this for a long time…will you marry me?" He asked. Tears streamed down Hinata's cheeks as she kissed him.

"Of course." She breathed.

A/N: I hope you liked it! Happy Birthday Hinata!
