Hey new brand new story :) I rewatched Wok Star and I loved the play "Well Wishes" which is originally written by Jade West. But we don't see much of the story too much, so I thought I'd do a little interpretation of it, from what I see. So I hope you enjoy? :)
DISCLAIMER: I own NOTHING. I am not affiliated with Victorious, Dan Warp or anything. Just writing a fanfic using the characters from the show.
(Cat Valentine as Ariel Valentine :D)
Ring...Ring...Ring
Ariel Valentine woke to the loud alarm on her clock that chimed at 6am every morning. She rolled over on her bed and switched it off.
Time to start a new day.
Ariel sat up, swung her legs over and hopped up out of bed. She walked over to her door and lazily opened it. She made her way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. She had a shower, brushed her teeth and brushed her hair. Today she decided to put her fiery red hair in 2 low pigtails. She went back into her room where she put on a white tank top, light denim shorts, a sleeveless light creamed coloured checkered shirt and a pair of red converse shoes. Once happy with her appearance, she joyfully ran downstairs eager to greet her father good morning. She had seen the front door open and her father already hard at work. She bolted towards the door and flung it open, leaving it to crash hard behind her. Her father, hearing the door crash, turned behind him and saw his daughter head towards him.
"Good morning dad" she said happily.
"Good morning Ariel" he replied.
"What can I do to help?" Ariel asked.
"You can start by fetching breakfast"
"Kk" she said smiling.
It was now just after noon, and Ariel and her father had been hard at work tending to all the farm chores.
"Hey dad" Ariel started
"Yes?" her father replied
"I'm going to go over to the well to get some water, I'll be back soon okay?"
"Okay, don't be gone too long now"
"I won't, bye dad" she exclaimed joyfully. Ariel picked up a wooden bucket from their shed and was on her merry way towards the well. It didn't take too long, maybe about 15 minutes walk away from her house. Their land was large, as any farm is to hold their animals, so it never bothered her to take a short trip to the well. The sun was beaming down on her, kissing her skin and her pores embracing its warm glow. Her red hair jumping up and down with each skip, dancing with the breeze. Her feet landing on the soft padded grass, almost like pillows. She was peaceful. She was happy.
Today will be a good day.
Ariel finally made her way towards the well, running towards it once it was close. She set the bucket beside her and leaned over the cold stone to grab the rope. Once caught in her hand, she bend down to pick up the bucket and tied it. She let go once she was certain it was tied down properly and smiled as she lowered it down into the deep dark well. Once she couldn't lower it any further, she started to pull it back up.
"Thats strange, it still feels the same, its not heavier" she thought to herself. Once the bucket was eye level with her, she saw that there was no water contained within it.
"Thats weird" she questioned, as she looked at the bucket puzzled. She leaned over, placing her hands on the stone that made up the well, to try and see if there was any water, however to her dismay all she saw was darkness. Mentally cursing, she leaned over further still only seeing darkness. Now frustrated, Ariel leaned even further in.
"Ugh, I still can't see anything" she looked around, concentrating. Why was there no water in the well? She was about to push herself up, but then the stone that was supporting her weight on her hands gave way. One after the other, like a domino effect, they came crumbling under her hands, falling into the well. Ariel screamed and lost her footing, falling after the rocks and into the dark abyss of the well.
