The Human Digi-Nomad
I want a normal relationship. I don't have much to say to you when you finally call. I miss sitting on the bus with you, talking about our family and friends. Our apartment feels small. I know it isn't because of your fame. I want you to know I hate it. I didn't go to college like I wanted to because you wanted me at the house. I felt like crying, holding your baby girl.
Her name is Sora Mimi. You thought it was cute and our friends loved it. I thought it was horrible. I never mentioned it though. She'll be thirteen this month. Because of her birthday, she went to your mother's. I want to know why. What's so bad about me going to college?
We had a fight a while ago. You let in and I went to the university. I was only four years back on my studies. I graduated with slightly more then nothing eight years ago. Why though, Yamato, would you care? You were always supporting, silently cheering me one.
I didn't care, my life hadn't begun. It finally started when the twerp came.
I noticed you called a while ago on my cell. I listened to the message and groaned. "No child! I don't want one yet! I was still finishing college!"
You didn't listen and came to the apartment with them. A woman and her little girl had come here with you. Apparently, after you went to her home a while ago. We were in high school if I remember correctly. But I didn't believe them, they were putting on acts. "Sora the Second" didn't look at all like you.
You kept them at our home though. And that was in America, where you produced often. I started living at your place back in Japan. I couldn't feel anything when they moved in.
So I moved out.
A notice came in the mail a while ago. It said you stopped paying for the place. A letter came from you saying you wanted me home. You weren't leaving your "daughter and wife" for month, at most, anymore.
It wasn't fair. Come home.
I called you that night. No one answered. I left a Japanese message.
I wasn't coming back.
You called me again and I kept replaying the message. "Fine," it said, in English, a hard language for me. "You went to college." Then, after a few seconds I heard. "You can support yourself, can't you?"
I called you back not even three minutes later. "No. I can't…"
"What? Why? You went to college!"
"No, Yam, I went to about three weeks of college."
"No you didn't!"
"Damn it! You came home with that brat and bitch and made me the house wife!"
"No I didn't!"
"Yes you did! Now I can't support myself! Thanks!"
"…Taichi?" I made an angry sound and cried silently.
This wasn't going to work. I summed up the rest of my money and rested until my days were up. I left and bummed around. I saw Daisuke bumming around also.
"What's up?"
"Pregnancy rate, apparently." He said in a bitter tone.
"How much ya got?"
"…Enough to live, I know that much."
I keep forgetting Dai had a harder childhood then any of us. "Oh."
"But I would like company." he smiled brightly.
"Great!"
"Great. Just like old times."
"What?"
"I got my digivice, you got yours?"
"Yeah, why ask?"
"The Digiworld is an easier place to survive in."
And that's how I became a human digi-nomad.
AC: End! Bad, right? Review, and flames are welcome!
