I had the Vampire Bible in my hands, blue hues wandering over the words I have read so many times before, again and again. I had been awake all day just not to disappoint Eric and to finally win the battle against the vampire god that Bill now was. Words were floating around in my mind, my lips letting out the words I was reading as my mind was trying to grasp what I was missing with my right hand on my temple, my eyebrows gathered into a deep frown that was betraying concentration.

"And so it was that the people led Lilith to the sun and so it shall be again." I let out a deep sigh, fighting away the overwhelming exhaustion. "As the blood ascends, two will become one. When Light and Dark collide, our salvation is at hand." I raised my head from the Bible, my mind still wandering. "The people..."

My train of thoughts was interrupted by Pam's entrance in the bar. "Your human dropped off some blood. There's half a carton left." I said, only paying half attention to the actual words leaving my lips.

"Where is Eric?" Pam asked, not in the greatest of moods.

"He went out." I said with the same lack of attention, my answer automatic.

"Where did he go?" Pam asked and I could feel the hostility in her voice.

"I have no idea." I said in one breath.

"Um, thought he told you everything." A sarcastic Pam pointed out.

"Apparently not." I answered absently. "People…" I whisper, still lost in my train of thoughts.

"Been up all day?" Pam asked with no hint of concern in her voice. I nodded then left out a "Yeah" as I felt the answer to our questions regarding Billith close.

"The /people/ led Lilith to the sun." I let out as sudden realization hit me.

"What?" questioned a confused Pam.

I slipped my tongue between my lips to keep them from going dry as I was trying to keep in the enthusiasm that got control over me.

"A...A passage from the Vampire Bible…" I took in a deep breath as I felt a smile ghost up on my lips. "…Has been mistranslated." I wasn't paying much attention to Pam, therefore I missed her eye roll and eyebrow raising .

"Tell Eric I went out, but I'll be back soon." I blurted out, closing the Bible with a soft thud.

"Tell him yourself. He told me to fuck off so that's what I'm going to do." Pam said, a hint of anger in her voice that caught my attention.

I let out a deep sigh at that, already on my feet and ready to go and said as Pam was turning her back at me. "Eric loves you, you know." I paused. "The only reason he never told you he had a sister inside the Authority was because that knowledge could have gotten you killed." I continued. "But I knew of you." I said with a shrug. "He spoke of you. Often. And fondly. You're what he's most proud of." I finished and Pam turned to me just to say "He's got a funny way of showing it." At that I let a soft laugh between my lips, allowing it to carve a smile upon my features. I looked lost for a moment, my train of thoughts about Lilith coming back to me.

"I'll be back." I said to Pam before blurring out of Fangtasia.
