A/N: This story was written in the span of 5 - 10 minutes. Based on the aforementioned fact this is probably a bad piece of writing. I just wanted to put it out there before I lost my nerve.
A Dream Come True
You know I saw you just the other day. Everyone always said you'd be great one day and I guess that day has finally come. I watch as you prepare to walk down the aisle, I always thought I'd be there to celebrate it with you. To experience one of the most memorable days of your life but it wasn't meant to be.
I see you fidget nervously, worrying your bottom lip. It was an endearing quality, one you'd picked up over the years by chance and circumstance. You always did worry more than what was deemed healthy. Again it was just...you, a slightly defining characteristic.
As the wedding march starts you begin to compose yourself. Before you pass through those double doors you glance back on a hunch and stare directly at me. You seem to be seeking my approval, as if I could ruin this moment for you, so I incline my head in silent acceptance.
Tears fill your eyes as you smile that breath takingly gorgeous smile. Your smile makes the world a bit brighter, even if for just a moment. You're all I could have ever hoped for, all I could have ever dreamed you would be.
As the doors begin to close I whisper to the ages, "May you know true love and happiness, my beautiful daughter. Remember that I shall always love you." As I begin to make my final exit, I catch the groom's eye. A million words pass between us in that brief moment and I know that you will be loved and protected for eternity and beyond.
The last words ever spoken to me in this life were a promise to the ages, "Always and Forever." I shall hold Harry to the promise he made to me, my daughter, and the world that day.
Harry and Hermione have shown me the simplicity of true unconditional love. Their story shall resound throughout time and shall never fade. A testament to the perserverence of hope, faith, and love, even in the darkest of times.
A/N: This was a spur of the moment story but I hope you all enjoyed it none the less. Criticisim is welcome. Until next time!
