Note: Since this story is so bloated with junk, I've written a summary at the end of this chapter.
Chapter 1: A new life
Daniel woke to a thunderous noise some distance away. Living in a rural town, he would hear the random discharge of a firearm from time to time. However this was unusual, Specially at this time of night and season. Also the glaring yellow light from outside his window was a dead giveaway that this was something else entirely.
Either it was human nature or plain stupidity, he had a yearning to see what was the matter. His small family was already up by the time he descended. They were looking out the front door not fully leaving.
Daniel didn't seem to notice them while hastily putting on a coat and slipping into some old boots. He pushed pass them going out into the fresh snow
"Daniel where in the world are you going?!" Exclaimed his mother instantly as his twin brother hid behind. He didn't have time to reply racing down the two lane road surrounded with trees. Seemed to hit every patch of ice before coming to a four way.
Then finally this source of light was found. A ship, not a ship of earth, but entirely made of glass it seemed and was smoother than anything he's seen before. It had legs of a spider extending from the sides that were solid metal. The yellow glow being emitted was intense to say the least.
As Daniel started to inch forward, he quickly noticed a set of tracks leading away from this vessel into the woods. They looked like a deer, which was common, but had half the legs. The prints themselves looked of a small shoe. He looked off them to the glowing ship in front.
"Look my Diamond, a local of fitting stature!" Declared a voice behind him. Daniel turned to be greeted by a human he thinks, but looking closer there was a yellow jewel attached to their chest. Even in this cold weather, she wasn't wearing much besides a tight tutu with fluffy shoulder pads.
"Uuhh, hA?" Was the only words Daniel could muster "What is it now, Pearl" Boomed a voice behind him from the glass ship.
"A local ma'am!" Declared the short lady, she then started to close the distant between herself and the ship. While walking she carried herself finely, like a ballerina even in this deep snow.
"This better not be another Mistake, Pearl..." The same powerful voice said
"No Ma'am! It's a complete match to the latest Rose Quartz! Though somewhat taller and aged" Pearl instantly said
"Hello? What is this? Wh-Who are you?" Daniel asked, but nobody responded. His mind raced about this match to a Rose Quartz, gemstones is something he never really thought about. Before he could think anymore, the curtains on the were thrown aside.
A women taller than any trees or houses around stepped out. Before he was somewhat curious, now felt nothing but fear. Her clothes shined a bright yellow, she was wearing armor with a pointy helmet, along with a cape behind.
"This? Are you sure, Pearl? You should check again" Boomed her voice, it nearly shook the near by trees.
"Yes, I'm quite sure, my Diamond" Daniel didn't make eye contact with anyone of these non-humans.
"Only thing left do is the DTH test, then we'll know" She added in
"Fine, make it quick. I haven't a clue WHY this takes so much time. You do know we have much to do, right?" The Diamond put a hand on her hip while throwing a hand about, the entire time her yellow eye's were locked onto him
"Yes my Diamond, shouldn't take long, I've done this test twenty-three times to be exact in the Zoo!" Before Pearl could finish, the Diamond returning to her ship in the light snow fall.
"Stay there human until I return!" Pearl hastily stepped up the stairs leaving him alone outside. Daniel thought this would be the best time to slip away, but yet something kept him there. Definitely wasn't the cold for he couldn't even feel his feet or hands anymore.
What bothered him the most was the fact nobody else was here. It may be a small town, but still. Inside the craft he heard the Diamond yelling at Pearl about something. A short while later, Pearl returned with small wire made of glass in hand.
"Don't bother resisting. Your my entire life now...Well, we'll see here now won't we" Pearl whispered while taking his hand. Daniel could handle being around this shorter, more human like non-human, so didn't fight it. Mainly cause the cold was blocking most of his senses.
"I'm sorry..." Was the only words he could say. Pearl gave him a weird look while wrapping the wire around his wrist.
After some awkward waiting and a few shouts from the Diamond, the wire started to glow a faint Pink. Pink in spots, but it was enough to get a strong reaction out of Pearl.
"My Diamond, come out here this instant!" Pearl had a strong hold on his arm and easily yanked him in front of her. The curtains opened again to the large lady rushing out
"Pink...Pink. Get in the ship, Pearl. We're done here" The Diamond didn't have such a strong before dipping back into the ship.
"We must go now, for there is much to be done!" Daniel stood there not understanding a thing about what just happened. Not a thing about what even these creatures are. The only thing that was on his mind, was family.
"I-I can't leave! I can't just LEAVE! You haven't even told me what you are!" Daniel brushed her strong grasp on his wrist off backing up some
"OH...No, no, no. You're coming with US" Pearl un-pocketed a weird looking pencil, at least what he thought it was. The thing was made of silver plating.
"COME, let's go. We have to get prepared!" She yelled this time, but he kept is stance and thought. This was enough for her. With a quick jab of the device, Daniel lost all forms of consciousness
He awoke, slowly but surely, in said craft. It was smaller inside with only one seat. On it sat the supreme Yellow Diamond talking away with her back to him. It appeared he was in a cutout in the wall, with only a orange barrier made of light blocking him out.
Still they were landed on earth, but now he could finally see crowds gathering outside. The only people that stood out was his brother and Mother. What was happening finally clicked in his head. Emotions swarmed him as he started to fight the barrier
Found it was useless, Daniel was easily able to break past it. Made him feel a little funny, but nothing compared to what he was thinking. Pearl noticed this instantly.
She marched over dodging one of his attack with one of her own, which sent him down to the ground and once again lost consciousness. This time waking up, they were drifting in space. In the distant orbiting the moon was a large yellow forearm making a fist. Pearl was busy talking to notice he's woken up
Still, it was some distance away. The wire around Daniel's wrist was giving off somewhat warmth. He held it close to his stomach crouched in the corner of the cell. After venting some emotions, he opened his eyes to notice the arm ship closing in.
Somehow it landed inside the pointer knuckle. The ship came to a halt in the middle of a large room, it was nearly empty expect a few small red ships shaped like a berry. Though the room had a single flight of stairs leading to a door. there was four large guards with long white hair and blue clothes blocking it however. Yellow Diamond stood looking back to him with a smirk out of the corner of her mouth at him.
Once she left, Pearl came walking over. She fumbled with something above out of sight before the orange light faded. Without saying anything she took his wrist dragging him behind.
Daniel put a stop to it standing up and holding his ground. Pearl had a deep sigh before turning to him
"Will you drop this, now please? We can't be seen wasting time. ITS OVER, you're done...Yellow Diamond is in need of you and it's never a good thing to keep one waiting" Pearl grabbed his wrist again yanking him away
"WHAT?! Why would I?! Take me back home, PLEASE. I don't wanna be here! Yo-You kidnapped and assaulted me!" These human word's didn't resonate with Pearl. She tripped him only to then drag him to the exit.
Daniel stood up accepting his fate before walking down the steps. She let go of his hands standing behind Yellow Diamond for now
"Ohh, gracious me! Is this it? is this the one!?" Cried a short blue gem with a dress swaying in the air. She had long white hair that covered her eyes and most of her face. Along with a few also shorter gems, but they were red and didn't seem to talk much
"Yes Sapphire, it wouldn't be here if not" Yellow rolled her eyes with this ridiculous question
"Thank the stars! I was starting to see you give up!" Sapphire cried back in a happy matter. She looked to Daniel, well, more face him. He couldn't tell where her eye's looked.
"Give up?! Why would you see that?! We need it for Pink!" Shouted yellow Diamond back. Sapphire lowered her hand and rested onto her other where there was a large blue gem.
"Oh yes, I see now ever too late you're plan" She whispered "Yes, ever slow are you. After what? five-hundred missions? You are bound to get something right, for you would up...Blue needs to send me better Sapphires"
Everyone in the room looked down, even Daniel. Though most of what Yellow said, he couldn't understand.
"Eight-hundred and thirty-six to be exact, my Diamond" Whispered Pearl confidently hiding behind her
Sapphire looked to Daniel again, still he questioned if she could even seem him, but she smiled anyway. From above he could feel cool waves of air being pumping into the room. This caused Sapphires dress to flow quite freely, and of course for him to breath.
"Well, its perfect! A fit to that REBEL Rose Quartz. I must know Pearl, how did the Diamond to Human test go?" Asked sapphire after this short pause of conversation
"As good as it could" Yellow Diamond said instantly. She looked down to him starting to doubt this entire situation. At least Daniel hoped so, but what if he wasn't the match? Most likely didn't want to find out.
"Sapphire, do tell the Peridot we're ready to progress to the next staging area. And prime a control Gem. I want a test withing the hour at least"
Daniel didn't understand most of this conversation, but could tell everything was about him. Pearl for some reason kept a hold around his wrist. Maybe she thought he would run for it, but who knows.
Sapphire started to talk quietly with the short ruby guards after her orders. Yellow Diamond turned looking down to Pearl and Daniel for a few seconds before speaking
"Pearl, take it to the holding room. And get it something to wear. I know it cannot generate without a gem...Just have to be creative"
Okay, it started out with a human getting kidnapped named Daniel. he was forced into a fusion with "Pink Diamond" (At the time of writing this, we had no clue of the truth, though I do confront this in the "ending chapter" which really isn't the ending I've decided) Since she isn't a complete gem, she needed another source of life, why she couldn't just use a gem, I don't know. Anyway, Peridot we all know was the one to do it, why? I don't know, but that's how I lined up the timeline. Also, Pink Diamond is always with him, and normally chatting/giving him information.
This Diamond has the powers of creation, and control over other's memories. Creation being able to make anything from anything, like gold to diamonds. He of course escapes with this power, and befriends a Peridot on his way home. They instantly become great friends, but once he arrives at home the Crystal Gems attacked his ship. They confront Daniel, and in this short scuffle, Peridot is shattered by his doing. It was of course a accident, then the next 10 or so chapters was him trying to restore her. (This Peridot is a different one from Peridot, Peridot we all know)
On Death, Pink Diamond swaps control with him (Or giving up control on purpose if one doesn't feel like living). He was killed on a mission trying to restore Peridot, so she came out. The crystal gems fight, and ultimately win, however Pink was able to implant 4 gems into the ground. Her mission was to fight homeworld after some confusion. Daniel lost Peridot's gem fragments, only to find out Garnet took them to homeworld. Her idea was to give them as a gift of peace after he attacked Blue Diamond in order to use her for blackmail, blackmail against Yellow that is.
The gems are born, but Garnet takes them with too, but forgets one. She was a jasper, and Daniel falls in love with her after some time, same with her. Mainly cause he gave her all his memories, to make like easier. After a trip to Empire City, Jasper becomes preggers from too much drinking on both of their accounts, though they had no clue what happens to a gem once the deed is done.
Daniel doesn't stay long as old enemies catch up to him, he's taken prisoners by these fake people called helgno I made up (They are enemies of homeworld, he tries to befriend them, but Pink Diamond messed that up by coming out and killing A LOT of them). They somehow got the surprise on him. He's banished into space for 3 years.
Lars of the Stars come to the rescue finding him (with the help of Garnet) Daniel is reunited with his now three year old child, Eva. Doesn't last long as Helgno gets him again, but this time they hand him to Yellow Diamond for peace between the races. It works, and he was imprisoned for 17 years in the Zoo (This is very briefly written about) Wasn't until his daughter Eva breaks him out, he's reunited with Pink, and it's all gravy from there.
Guess I wrote that Steven shattered Yellow, and really messed up homeworld while he was locked away, but for some reason couldn't save him, I don't know! I wrote ALL of this very sleep deprived, and it shows. After coming home from 17 years, he hardly connects with anyone, expect Eva. She has the powers like him, but is VERY slow with it, and can't see/remove memories. She also had two gems, a Imperial Topaz on her back, and a Pink Diamond gem on her belly button.
There is a brief few chapters where Daniel starts to do homeworld things, like being a Diamond judge, and was going to do one where he creates a kindergarten on another planet, but cut it. Anyway, his mind starts to meld with Pink Diamond. She thought it was a good idea to give Eva to White Diamond for training. Also, Lars attacks, only to be killed by Daniel and the small band of rebels. He spares Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst
Daniel finds out where homeworld put Peridot's two gems shards, and gets her back. He restores her, but she confesses there was never anything between them, and that she wanted to leave. So, Daniel lets her live in his old house far north away from anything and anyone with another gem they forgot about, a Amethyst.
Everything is going fine until Steven is killed by Eva. She doesn't tell anyone, but after some time Daniel finds out through Peridot and Lapis (The people who mainly raised her) They said she was a complete sociopath that would kill all the time. So he checks her memories, and yes, she did it. But she has the smart idea of cutting off Steven's gem to give power back to the Rose Quartz from tricks she learned from White Diamond.
It works, but Rose saw everything she did to Steven. A big battle breaks out. This is covering up to the last chapter, which this battle takes place. Anyway, Pearl is shattered by Daniel, same with Amethyst. He keeps the real Pink Diamond locked away to show him killing Pearl for a thousand years, until a certain device is restored that allows time travel.
