A/N: This is my first FanFic for Harry Potter, and the first I've done in a while… so sorry if it's not that great, my writing skills are all rusty ;3 thanks for reading 3

"Nev, come on, I can't wait, let's tell everyone, now!" Luna whispers into my ear excitedly.

"No. Luna, you know I want to tell the world, but we owe it to Ron & Hermione to let them have their night…" I turn and face her, watching as her blue eyes shine in the light.

"And… what if I was to say 'No'?"

"Then I would have to seal your mouth up before anyone heard" I lean down to her and plant a small kiss upon her lips.

"That's good enough for me" She laughs and spins away, so I go over to chat to Harry and Ginny.

We chat for a while, but I'm feeling distant. A baby? I can't do this! I'm only a herbology teacher, nowhere near being a father! There's also that one thing playing at my mind… just because Luna and I are having a baby, doesn't mean we have to get married… right?!

I mean, don't get me wrong, Luna is the love of my life, but I'm not so sure I'm up for a commitment right now. Sure, a baby is a commitment, but the baby could always just stay with Luna, it will have its own life, and if I get married, I'm not so sure I'll have my own. If I get married, I will be tied down to the family, and I'm not so sure I want to get personal with my child... I mean, what if something happens to me? The child would be heartbroken…

"That's getting way too much onto personal ground…" I accidentally murmur out loud.

"Personal ground? Um, Neville, we were talking about Quidditch! I don't really follow…" Ginny looks at me all confused-like. "Unless, you've started playing…?" She gives me an odd look.

"Oh!" I suddenly become aware of my surroundings and chuckle, "No, I was just lost in my thoughts! So, you've joined the Holyhead Harpies, Ginny? That's great!"

"Yeah, thanks…" She and Harry walk off, leaving me alone next to the banquet table, when Ron strolls over.

"Neville! I hear you're doing fine, a professor at Hogwarts!" He exclaims and hugs me tight.

Ron must be so happy. He's marrying his childhood sweetheart, his best friend has married his sister, and h's on the running to becoming the next Minister of Magic, which everyone knows is a huge deal, especially at his young age. (I even expected a baby too, as Hermione's dress seems to be a little larger over the stomach than natural.) He has a cute little nephew, young James Sirius, whose first words were Uncul Won-Won! (At least that's what Ron claims James said the night he and Hermione babysitted him…)

I want it to be that easy, I think to myself, as Ron and I make small talk about how amazingly Molly had set up this beautiful wedding. But with my history, things never seem to be easy.
