"Hey honey have you seen my..." He stopped to gaze at her. She was standing in front of the picture window looking out at the night sky. The moon cast a soft glow on her skin making her even more beautiful than ever. Her hair was down in soft loose curls that made him want to run his fingers through it. He walked over and wrapped his arms around her kissing her on the top of her head and breathing in the strawberry scent of her shampoo.

"Tony!" she seemed startled.

"Sweetheart, are you okay?" he asked with concern turning her around.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I was just lost in thought."

"Good thoughts I hope." he smiled at her and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

"Yeah, yeah they are. I'm just..."

"Just what?" he said taking her hand and leading her to the window seat. He sat down and pulled her into his lap.

"I'm just, I don't know surprised."

"Really? At what?"

"Well, you're here"

"Yeah, and so are you." he chuckled.

"No, I mean you're here in my I mean our bedroom."

"Well we are married you know." he gave her a soft smile and lifted up her left hand gently kissing her wedding ring.

"I know. It just didn't seem real until tonight."

He was confused. They had been married for about three weeks and now is when she finally felt married to him? But he knew that in her own cute Angela way she had some explanation.

"Angela? What do you mean?"

"I'm sorry Tony. I didn't mean that I haven't felt married to you because I have. I do. But, we've been on our honeymoon and this is the first night that..."

"You mean our first night together here in our bedroom?"

"Yeah. I mean all these years I have dreamed about it. Now that it's really and truly here it just seems... I don't know" at a loss for words she sighed and looked down.

"Overwhelming?"

She looked up and into her husband's warm brown eyes.

"Yeah, exactly. But in a good way."

"In a very good way." he smiled at her. "You know Angela I understand how you feel."

"You do?"

"Yeah, I've dreamed of this too. I mean before when we were on our honeymoon we were in our own little private world. But now reality is setting in."

"I know. I'm happy about that you know. Please don't think that I'm not..."

"I know that you're happy sweetheart. I never doubt that."

"Good."

"And uh just so you know Mrs Micelli?"

"Yes Mr Micelli?"

"I'm happier than you are." he said winking at her.

"Always have to be competitive don't you?" she laughed and leaned in and kissed him.

"Well you know me." he said when their kiss ended. "So do you feel better?"

"Much better. Thanks." she smiled at him.

"You know I'm always here for you."

"Me too."

"That's good to know and now Mrs Micelli." he said mischievously lifting her up in his arms and walking over to their bed." I believe it is time to go to sleep." He placed her gently on the bed and caressed her cheek with his hand.

"Oh yeah okay "sleep"" she giggled as he leaned down to kiss her.
