Bardock sighed heavily as he stared down at Aries. The woman was injured and bleeding. She gripped her forearm where a deep gash was. She had trembled slightly, though; she glared as she did so. Like a true Saiyan, she repressed pain. She had pride to uphold and she refused to let simple little injuries like this hold her back.
Bardock too, was like this. However, unlike most Saiyan's; he did care for those who were close to him. Aries was no exception. Bardock had to keep a special eye on this woman however. She was reckless and over confident (not that that wasn't normal for Saiyans) and she often was injured from some risk she had decided to take.
Of all his comrades, he didn't want to see this woman die.
"You've made a mess of yourself again?" He inquired, crossing his arms over his chest.
"What's it to you?" She shot back. "This should all but be normal for you by now!" She smirked as she spoke, her confidence over flowing as it normally did.
"You're going to get yourself killed one day." Bardock retorted. "And I won't be there to help you."
"Who said I need your help!" She shouted back, suddenly angry. He'd insulted her pride. Of course she would be angry with him.
"When I die, I'll be kicking your ass from the afterlife dammit!"
Bardock rolled his eyes. This was something often shot back at him. If she would die, she'd threaten to come back to quote on quote 'kick his ass'. If it was on mortal terms, she'd threaten to kick him into a day of the week or month or year. Did she follow up with these threats? Well, sometimes, she tried. It would often end up with her injured once again in some way, shape, or form.
"Listen up buddy!" She shouted, catching his attention. "I may not be as strong as you are but that doesn't mean I couldn't kick your ass!"
It was at this point, she'd gotten so close to his face that he could feel her breath on his cheeks. He raised an eyebrow at the sudden closeness. A smirk then came onto his lips as an idea popped into his head. He leaned forward himself, closing the space in between their faces.
Aries's eyes widened when she felt his lips crash onto hers. When he pulled away, she was left positively speechless. It had been a shock. Saiyan's never showed those kinds of emotions; at least, not usually. The entire situation had caught her off guard as well, leaving her at a loss for words.
"I….wha? Huh?"
Bardock only smirked at her as he stumbled over her words. He strode away, feeling proud of catching the other Saiyan off guard. Aries was left standing in her spot, blood still dripping down her arms and legs.
"What the hell was that!" Was what she finally managed to shout when Bardock was finally out of sight.
