This is a prequel to a future Klaine I'm working on.
This is a story about two boys. One boy was so much in love with the other. The other boy did not share those feelings. The one boy was very persistent and it paid off eventually. The other boy agreed to the relationship. They flirted, mingled, and sang together and all was well. Things turned sour towards a month into their romance. This is the tale of their end. It all began with the simplest of actions.
Blaine slides to the stereo and turned it on. Robin Thicke's everything I can't have starts to play in the background. He rolls back over to his desk to continue studying. Kurt strolls in at this point inquiring whether or not Blaine wants to get coffee. Blaine replies "I can't, I need to work on French."
"oh, um, you want some help?"
"I appreciate the offer but I can handle it."
"Alright, I'm gonna go out with 'cedes, I'll see you later."
"Yeah, later." Blaine continues to study into oblivion, not seeing the hurt looks he got each and every time he rejected Kurt, which seemed to happen more often than not.
"Blaine?"
"Not now Kurt, I'm busy."
"Blaine, I'm going back."
"Alright, could you tell Wes on your way I need to see him."
"Blaine, I'm not going back to my dorm room."
"Wha~t?" Blaine quickly turned around, he is stunned by Kurt's hurt expression.
"I'm going back to McKinley."
'Why?"
"You've been ignoring me, I can't get a solo to save my life, and I have pretty much no friends here!" He said this quite loudly.
"Kurt, clam down, you have Wes and David and Me."
"No, you have Wes and David, I have nothing. I definatly don't have you. If I had you, we would be going to places, talking, and just damn enjoying each others company."
"We go out, I've just been busy."
"You'll always busy."
"But~"
"No, Blaine, we are through." It broke the boy's heart to say this, but with this he turned and with tears running down his face, he walked away.
The other boy continued on with his life with a small dull ache in his chest for the boy he didn't know he had feelings for.
