*walks in muttering under breath* Can't even watch TV anymore without some story idea popping into my head. *stops and throws hands up* WHY ME? *turns* *sees startled faces* *lowers arms and laughs nervously* How long have you all been there? (Katie, laughing: Long enough to see your mental breakdown.) *glares* Shush you. *turns back* Hey readers, at least those who didn't run away, Lacy here. So I was watching the latest episode of SGU on Monday and let me tell you, the end did not make for a happy Lacy. Not at all. Must they turn Everett and TJ into Sam and Jack 2.0? Don't get me wrong, I live for Sam and Jack but going through the heart break and sexual tension was bad enough the first time. I can't do it again! *exhales slowly* I'm good. I guess by my ranting and the title you can guess that this is a fix for the end. So, have fun!

Disclaimer: I own...nothing. Damn, usually I can at least claim Grace.

Everett was pacing. A lot. He was actually a little afraid, with how old the ship was, that he would go right through the floor after enough time. But that was the last thing on his mind. As was his throbbing shoulder. No, right now the only thing he could think about was TJ.

He scrubbed his free hand over his face and exhaled. He was terrified that Varro and Greer wouldn't find her in time. No, he shook his head, not too hard as it was still hurting, he couldn't think like that. TJ was alive, okay and would be back any minute. He couldn't and wouldn't survive on this damn ship without her.

He looked over at the small bed that held their daughter near the corner. Neither of them would.

Stepping back onto Destiny, three things entered TJ's mind. Getting her wounds cleaned, seeing Everett and their daughter and thanking Greer for saving her. Varro too. Really though, she just wanted to see her family.

"TJ,"

TJ turned with a smile as Everett walked towards her, their daughter tucked against his shoulder.

"You're okay," Everett breathed.

TJ nodded as Everett hugged her against the opposite side from the baby. He'd left his sling behind. No matter the pain, he wanted to hold his family properly. TJ ran her hand over Carmen's back as she settled her head on Everett's shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm okay." she said softly. "It was close but Varro and Greer made it in time."

Everett met Varro's eyes over Carmen's back and gave the Alliance member a small nod, which was returned. They had come to an understanding on the planet, one Everett was glad for. He had no doubt Varro could most likely kick his ass if things came to blows.

Everett kissed TJ's hair. "Let's get you checked out then go rest. I think we all need it."

TJ nodded and let Everett guide her out of the gate room.

See? Short, sweet and fixed. I'm certain the two ANs are longer then the story but that's not what matters! What matters is I fixed it. Okay, let me know what you think, flame policy stands and thanks for reading.
