Gwendal glared out the his office window and groaned. Every year this day came and he hated it. He could already feel the headache building in his temples. Today no paperwork would get done, the king would skip out on his lessons, and Gunter...

Right on cue his office door slammed open and an excited Gunter Von Christ practically skipped in. "Gwendal! Have you seen? Isn't it beautiful? It's even earlier this year than it was last year!" He gushed joining the stoic mazoku at the window.

The dark haired man's eye twitched and he rubbed between his eyes. "Gunter, I don't have time for your foolishness..." he began already knowing any protest he made was futile. As expected the lavender haired beauty complete ignored him and continued to bounce against the window sill. "Just look how big they are and how fast it's coming down! Quickly! Find your gloves and I'll go grab my scarf!" Gunter order then dashed from the room.

Gwendal sighed and glared again at the large fluffy white flakes falling outside his window. The first snowfall of the year. Nothing could stop it from coming, much like nothing could stop Gunter's excitement when it came.

"Hurry Gwendal!" came a muffled call from the hallway. Snatching the gloves he had already laid out from his desk, the dark haired mazoku strode toward his waiting annoyance. At least there would be hot drinks afterward.
