Jackson and Greta are my original characters, but I don't own CSI.

This is inspired by a video I saw on Facebook of a baby girl talking to a cat. I thought it would be a perfect story for baby Greta. Hope you enjoy...and pretty please review!

Greta Sanders loved spending time at Doc and Judy Robbins house as much as her big brother Jackson did. They stayed over there when Morgan and Greg were at work, and Judy loved having them there as much as Jackson and Greta loved staying there.

One morning, Greg and Morgan arrived to get the children and take them to breakfast. Before they could knock, Judy opened the door and Jackson took his parents hands and pulled them inside. Greg turned to ask what was going on, but Judy put a finger to her lips to shush them.

When they came into the living room, they found their daughter Greta laying on a blanket on the floor with the Robbins' cat Cinder. The cat was patiently lying next to Greta as she had her hand on the cat's back. Greta was quietly babbling to Cinder, like she was telling the cat a story or telling her about her day.

"What's she doing?" Morgan whispered.

"She woke up from her nap and Cinder came in," Judy explained.

"I think Greta wanted to talk to her," Jackson added.

Greta quietly babbled to her feline friend and looked at the cat with a soft smile. Cinder looked at the baby like she knew Greta wouldn't hurt her.

Morgan took video with her cell phone. "Looks like they're having a good conversation."

"Yeah," Jackson said. "They love each other."

Greg smiled at his daughter with the cat. "Looks like they do."

"Baba da," Greta whispered to Cinder. "Ah da, baba ba da!"

Jackson smiled at his baby sister. "Maybe she's telling Cinder a story."

"Maybe," Greg whispered. The way Greta was gently holding the cat and softly talking reminded him of when Jackson was younger and he'd come to the Robbins to pick him up after work. Jackson would often be sitting with Cinder and talking to her, telling her a story or talking about his day.

Cinder yawned and stretched. Greta giggled softly as the cat walked over to Jackson and happily got a head rub from her pal. Greta smiled when she saw her family. "Mama! Dada!"

"Hey, sweet girl," Morgan whispered as she walked over and lifted her smiling daughter. Greta gave a happy squeal as Morgan lifted her into the air.

"Hey," Greg whispered as he joined Morgan. Greta smiled and reached her hand to Greg. "Dada!"

Greg kissed Greta's hand. "Did you and your brother have a good day with Cinder and Aunt Judy?" Greta gave her father a sweet giggle.

Jackson hugged his family. "We had a great day, right Greta?" Jackson kissed his sister's hand. "You were telling Cinder all about it!"

Greta gave her family a sweet smile. Morgan hugged Greta as Judy got her diaper bag and Cinder jumped on the couch and started taking a bath. "Da dada!" Greta shouted as she pointed to the cat.

Cinder looked at the sweet baby and meowed. Greta giggled, like she knew what Cinder meant.

Everyone smiled at the cat and the baby girl. "They had a sweet conversation," Judy said with a warm smile.

Greta's family smiled warmly. "They had a good talk!" Jackson said as he tickled Greta's foot. Greta's laughter carried through the house.

"Yeah," Greg said with a loving smile. "They know what they're talking about."
