Home by ten.

A/N: Alright, my first (and hopefully last ^^) one-shot. I don't think it's too bad.
Italics are normal writing, and normal writing is emphasis. Yeah, I like italics. Right, by the way, I don't own Pokemon or any of its characters.
Kay, well, here we go!

She takes a step down, navy shoe barely showing under her sage-green dress. Her navy hair, usually clipped back, cascades past her shoulders and down to her waist.

He can't help but smile; she's so beautiful.

She grins a grin that could light up the world, (one which he hasn't seen in years) as she walks toward him, the gentle click-clack of her heels breaking the silence. He follows her lead and steps forward as well, stretching out his arms, which she gently falls into. Her gloss-covered lips are a centimeter away from his ear as she whispers, "you look very handsome."

She feels his shoulders quake as he laughs. "As do you."

A cough interrupts their moment, and he tilts his head ever so slightly. And he sees him. Just standing there, with his blonde hair and amber eyes, smiling brightly at her. He sighs, letting her go.

She turns around, rushing into his arms. He laughs, and picks her up, twirling her around. Her long dress billows out around her; she looks like she's underwater, as her dark hair flies in every direction.

He sets her down, and after she's done giggling, the two link arms and walk off.

She quickly turns around to wink at him, and her dreamy expression says it all.

"I'll be home by ten."

A/N: Well, I guess this is more of a paragraph than a one-shot, really…

Anyway, what am I doing, writing love triangles, and mushy romance? And am I doing it right?

Okay, well, this wasn't my original plan, but I think it works. Just in case you didn't know (which which you probably didn't; it was very poorly described), Dawn's the girl, Lucas is the first boy, and Barry's the second.

In case you were wondering, this is based off a dare, where someone I have a crush on had to choose between dating me or my best friend. He chose her. That's why I'm not updating See You Again this week; I'll probably end up killing all the characters. Sorry about that.

As always, thanks for reading!
