Chris Jericho sat in the locker room with his notebook in front of him. Ever since Fozzy went big, he was always writing in it. It was just something he got used to doing a lot. Maybe too much. He looked down at the notebook and mumbled to himself, "Great title, just nothing after it." He couldn't think, lyrics used to come to him all the time, but after his recent incident with his so-called friend Jay Reso, also known as Christian, and his ex-girlfriend Trish Stratus. Trish was sneaking around with Jay, when they were still together. Then she came out, and left him. He was, of course, angry, wanted to get them back, but at the same time, didn't want to hurt Trish.

It's a crime you let it happen to me

Never mind, I'll let it happen to you

I don't mind

Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think that Trish would do something like this to him. He loved her with all his heart and he thought she did too. Everything should of worked out, but didn't. Dreams crushed.

Forget It

There's nothing to lose.

But my mind and all the things I wanted

When Trish told him, that she wanted to be with Jay, he wasn't going to go down without a fight. He wanted to stay with Trish. Everything that happened between the two of them in the past never did. Was that the cause between the break-up? Was Chris the screw up of the relationship?

Every time I get it

Throw it away

It's a sign, I get it

I wanna stay

"How can I survive without you here?" he asked himself, as tears filled his eyes once again. He had to be strong, not let anyone know that he was still down, suffering without his one true love. It was too hard; he couldn't get back to his old ways before him and Trish was dating. Trish was still apart of him.

By the time I lose it, I'm not afraid

I'm alive, but I can surely fake it

How can I believe when this cloud hangs over me

You're apart of me that I don't wanna see

Forget it

'I just wish that she would come back,' he kept telling himself. Everywhere and everyone was Trish, or some memory of her. There was no help for him to get over her. After three years, nothing. Holding his breath, there has to be something or someone.

There's a place I see you following me

Just a taste of all that might come to be

I'm alone, but holding breath you can breathe

To question every answer counted

"Chris, you comin'?" Trish yelled, poking her head in the door.

"Yeah. Just one more second," he replied.

"Alright," she said with a smile, shutting the door behind her.

No matter how hard he tried, getting over Trish would take some time. Just still being friends with her and Jay, is all he ever asked for.

Just fade away

Please let me stay

Caught in your way

Chris looked down at his notebook, putting the last lines in his new song...

It's a crime you let it happen to me

I don't mind, I love it easy to please

Never mind forget it

Just a memory on a page inside a spiral notebook
