Prologue
A/N: This is my second story as of the time I discovered . Yay!
Credit goes to 8TailFox for the idea.
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon. Well, duh.
"Marvellous!"
"Outstanding!"
"Magnificent!"
"How does it work?"
Deep in a secret underground laboratory three scientists were standing in a untidy room full of books, papers and various experimental equipment. In front of them was a small glass vial filled with blue liquid.
A man in a black suit picked up the vial and looked into it with a questioning expression on his face.
"What is it?"
The other scientists gave him a sceptical look. "It's a chemical that has the capability to change the genome of humans according to it's environment. "Albert here", the scientist pointed to a man in a dirty coat with askew glasses and messy hair. He had a tired look on his face. "has created this chemical and after 5 years of research and testing he successfully managed to make something that doesn't make people implode in on themselves." Albert hung his head in shame. Everybody else shuddered at the thought of Albert's other experiments.
The man in black put the vial down. "Why did you make this?" He asked Albert.
Albert, who was at least 2 feet shorter than the man in black pushed his glasses up his nose and stared defiantly up at the man. "Humans seem to take an interest with living things and are always studying them. I thought that it would make it easier for researchers if they could learn from being close to the pokemon."
"Seems like a good idea. Let's test it."
"Where will we do that?" The man in black said.
"We need to find a small town that wouldn't cause much of a problem when we test."
"What about where I'm from? It's a small town on the edge of a swamp. The town of Riverwood." Albert said.
"Seems like a good idea. We'll do it.
A/N: Yes, I know the prologue is pretty short. Future chapters will be longer, that's if I don't procrastinate. ._.
