A Former Esoteric Passion

Celestia's sun was setting behind the untamed vastness of the Everfree Forest, clearing the sky for the arrival of Luna's moon. The sky was magnificent blend of deep orange and pink, and the creatures surrounding Fluttershy's cottage started to settle into their abodes. Fluttershy gazed at the alluring sunset deep in solitary thought of the previous day.

Fluttershy and all of her friends were basking in the unclouded, luminous daylight. Everypony was enjoying a delightful picnic, set up two weeks after Twilight's anomalous decent into delirium. Twilight was regretful for not being there with her friends and wanted to return to normality. So the guild of mares ambiguously decided to have another picnic to try and help filter Twilights nerves to a more un-arcane state of mind. The decision was incontestable to all of the other ponies, so they broadly agreed to the interrogatory request that Fluttershy had made two days ago.

Fluttershy caught herself unintentionally gawking upon her lavender friend from time to time again. Often she would also find herself cogitating on the subject of Twilight as well, whenever she did shed feel this warm feeling deep down whenever she caught herself doing so. Fluttershy didn't know what this burning passion was insider her chest, but she didn't threat on the subject too much.

Twilight looked up at all of the other ponies and said "I'm so terribly sorry for everything that I caused." Twilight held back her tears. "I really don't know what came over me, I just really went ballistic, but I swear to Celestia that I shall never act like I did ever again." Tears were now streaming down her face like there was no tomorrow.

All of Twilights friends went over next to her and cradled her into a big group hug; Twilight was now bawling her eyes out. Something inside her couldn't believe how loyal her friends could be after the way she had acted not only to her friends, but all of the ponies in Ponyville. She felt as if she should have been banished far away from Ponyville and locked in a cage for her insolence. But she knew all of her friends have been in similar positions before. Applejack over-worked her self into a completely exhausted state, Rarity as well over-worked herself when she wanted to make gala dresses for all of her friends, Rainbow Dash had an acute case of stage fright that caused her to act really strange, Fluttershy lost control of her "stare," And Pinkie Pie… well its best not to get into that, the thought of that sent shivers down anyponies spine when they thought about that

Twilight was starting to feel a bit more relaxed with her friends embracing her like so. She finally said "thank you girls… so much, you have no idea how much this means to me."

With that her train of thought broke once she heard a bated knock on her door, 'I wonder who that could be at this time' she thought to herself. She escorted herself to the door with minor hesitation thinking of the worst case scenario like usual. She then turned her doorknob and poked her head out the door in an inappreciable amount. The only thing she could contemplate of the stranger was the silhouette of a unicorn from what she could tell. Fluttershy was now shaking in fear. But she managed to stutter out "W-w-who's Th-there." She shakily spoke.

The silhouette very vaguely responded "It's me, Twilight..."
