Naru sat on top of the Yondaime Hokage's head and sighed. 'why me?' . She asked herself. Every year on October 10th Naru would suffer more than any other in Konoha had before. And she was tired of it. Every year on her birth day she would be beaten to death, literally, and every year she would miraculously come back to life and be completely healed by the time the sun came up.
'Why do i let them do this to me day after day and year after year?' And she did let them.
Unknown to everyone in the village except the Hokage 7 year old Naru is one of the most powerful ninjas in the village. She had been train by both loyal sannins and the sandaime Hokage. She was a prodigy in fuinjutsu and kenjutsu. She picked up taijutsu and elemental jutsu faster than most and she was proficient in medical jutsu despite her problems with chakra control at first.
But with the way all the villagers in Konoha treated her she had no desire to become one of the many shinobi that served their village. Although there were many in the village that she cared for, like the old man at ichiraku and iruka sensei, not to mention old man Hokage. She could just not protect all the other people who lived in Konoha.
Suddenly, a hand reached out and sat on her shoulder. Naru turned around and saw that the Hokage had up on her while she had been lost in thought.
"What are you doing up here Naru?" asked the Hokage.
"Just thinking"
"About what?"
"The villagers"
"Oh, Naru you have to understand that they don't understand fuinjutsu like we do. In fact they don't understand it at all, so they cannot fathom how something as powerful as the Kyuubi can be sealed into something as fragile as a newborn baby. Many of them had lost their loved ones and some their entire families and many of them can not just let their pain go."
"I understand jiji, but it still hurts. I have now died and been brought back to life a total of 397 times in my 7 years of life, not to mention all of the times that i have only been beaten to near death."
"I am sorry Naru, I couldn't protect you from this pain. I should have done something more to make sure your status as the jinchuriki for the Kyuubi never left the council room. And for that i not only failed you, but both your mother and father."
"You keep saying that jiji, but you never tell me who my mother and father are, maybe if i knew it wouldn't be so hard to live here."
"Im sorry Naru but i was forbidden by the council from telling you until you achieve the rank of Chunin."
"But i don't want to be a shinobi, i just want to live my life in peace."
"I know Naru, and i am sorry, but there is nothing i can do" and with that HIzuren left Naru to her thoughts, hoping that she would one day change her mind and come to love this village as much as he does despite their treatment of her.
