His End
Synopsis: He was dead. He couldn't be saved now. Set during Book 3
This is from a prompt I was given. [4 people, one murder, one witness, one suspect, one victim. 4 different point of views, with a twist I decided to use it to make my very first Avatar fan fiction.

He's dead.
And to think I wasn't the one to kill him.
It's not like I hadn't wanted to, nor that I didn't have the opportunity. I had almost achieved it at Ba Sing Se. Failure. So I waited, waited for him. I had it all planned, awaiting for the perfect moment of execution. I was so very close, and then…
He does it. Of all people, and he's never truly killed before. While I'll never say it, he has become powerful, more powerful then I expected. Who would have thought he be able to lightning bend?
How annoying, that she's going to think I did it. Oh well, she had her uses. I wish I could stick around and watch what that water tribe girl is going to do. Doesn't she realize he can't be saved. Not now?
Sorry peasant, but you can't help your friend….
:-:-:-:
Pain.
Burning.
He would never be able to redeem himself now.
Of all the memories…
If we knew each other back then, do you think we could've been friends…?
He was a fool to have hoped or perhaps just a fool for not trying hard enough.
His last bitter thought was that his mentor must be proud.
Then the heat engulfed him.
Again.
:-:-:-:
I killed him.
I've never killed before.
To have killed someone feels….
Not just someone…. He had saved my life …
He was always fighting, never backing down… and yet there he is in front of me, dying, as helpless as he had been when the blue spirit had existed…
:-:-:-:
He had killed him… actually killed him.
How long has she been dreading this moment? This day had loomed over them, they all knew that Ba Sing Se had changed things.
Once they were in the fire nation, she realized too late that he was too far gone. It never felt real, this change in him. Yet once they had confronted the fire nation prince, in the home he so longed to return too, she couldn't deny it.
Her vision blurred as she kneeled next to his scarred body. The smoke still rising stung her eyes, but it wasn't the true reason for her tears.
The scarred face.
There's no way she would be able to heal him now.
He was lost to them all. She bowed her head, understanding finally.
I used to think this scar marked me. The mark of the banished prince cursed to chase the Avatar forever. But lately, I've realized I'm free to determine my own destiny. Even if I'll never be free of my mark.
"You're finally free now . . . Zuko."

The End
:-:-:-:
A/N: This idea of course was thanks to the prompt, but I had this discussion with a friend a few days ago, about how one of the possible (yet very unfavorable) outcomes of Zuko fate is that he dies. I'd rather hope to keep that as an idea, and not actually happen! Yeah, and I'm a zutara fan, can't you tell:p
Hope the twist, well.. Was a twist XD
Here's the structure in case you didn't understand the POV's.
1st - Azula (suspect)
2nd- Zuko (victim)
3rd- Aang (murderer)
4th- Katara (witness)
