It was the 30th, the last day of the month, and you know what that means! I'll be chased down by Edward and his crew. In other words, I'm going to be on my period tomorrow and you know, Eddy is a vampire that craves blood. I think you get it. Anyway...
I lay in bed, streams of the sun's rays slipping through my bedroom curtains, rays hitting my face. I get up slowly, stretching out every inch of my body. My phone rumbles on my desk across the room. I heave my body up and grab the phone, inserting the password, Makoto. Now thinking about it, it sounds something like a thirteen year old would do... My phone instantly sends me to my contacts and a 1 is next to Makoto, speak of the Devil. I click on Koto's face, 'Good morning!~ :) Do you need...?' Okay, so, what he said basically was, 'do you need pads?' Me and Koto have this thing where we don't say stuff related to periods directly, for one it makes everything awkward as heck and, yeah, end of story. I pause, thinking back to last month. Don't remember... I place my phone back on my desk and walk into my bathroom and peer into the cabinet, just one left, wow. I snatch my phone back up and reply, "Yessss.."
A few minutes later, Makoto knocks on the front door softly. I open the door and I get greeted by Koto's sweet smile, "Hello!" I shiver at the cold breeze that makes its way into the house and I get reminded of the sizzling eggs that cooks in a pan on the stove. I turn away from Mako, not before returning the same smile Mako gave me and made my way to the kitchen, "Senpai, do you want some eggs before we go?"
"Oh, yes please!" He responds as he closes the front door. I smile and I begin to scramble the eggs with my spatula. Mako's arms wrap around me, lightly squeezing me, his soft lips peck my cheek, "It smells delicious, Konami." I take a whiff and my senses are drowned with the smell of Koto and the scrambling eggs. I nod with a smile, "It does." Makoto retracts his strong and warm arms to his sides and he sits at the table. I turn the stove off and places the spatula in the sink. I turn and take four slices of bread from the loaf and stick them in the toaster. I open the fridge, taking butter and jam out. The toast, no longer bread, pops up out from the toaster. I take two plates out from the cabinet above me and set them on the table. I butter the toast and put a decent amount of jam on them. Me and Mako split the eggs and we eat.
Me and Mako walk along the road to the pharmacy, bodies close for warmth, fingers entwined. We take in the sweet silence as we walk, the sound of wheezing lungs, the tap of our footsteps, the crunch of snow under feey, the sound of tongues lathering over lips to keep them moistened from the dry, cold, air.
We get to the pharmacy. Me and Mako walk in casually, but slowly, to the isle where they sell the tampons and pads. I leave Mako in a near by isle, while I snatch my pads and leave the isle as quickly as possible. Mako joins me as I walk past the isle he had been browsing and I pay at the register, we leave.
The day has come, the day I start cramping up, bleeding, and the day I become super horny but can't do crap about it for a full week!
