"Ariadne, do you remember how you became involved in the dream project?" She heard Arthur ask, as he bought some coffee.

She glanced at him.

"That was five years ago, but yes, I still remember." She said, staring into her empty cup.

How could she not forget?

"Cobb wants to see you again, has something to give to you," he said, "and he's waiting across the street."

Ariadne turned to look around. The streets were filled with people. Busy people, heading to work and school, involved in their own affairs, and it was difficult to discern who was who.

"Look carefully," Arthur said, "amidst all the people here, you will see him at the far right."

"Why doesn't he wave or something?" Ariadne asked, "he could give a signal to his location."

"If anybody knew he was signalling you, you would be in more danger than you already are in right now."

She turned to face him in a hurry.

"What?"

He urged her onward.

"Hurry! He hasn't got much time." Arthur said, nudging her forward.

Ariadne gave him an odd look, but did as she was told. Doing her best to walk casually across the street, she glanced in both directions, hoping nobody followed.
